It follows from Eastern philosophy that all of Nature is one Being.
That is, men and women,
who are animals in the most primitive sense, are no different from dogs, whales, sharks, and dolphins. We are the animals we pet and the animals we hurt, the flowers we smell and the flowers we step on, we are all that is known and all that is unknown, and failure to recognize this union is clear evidence of an ego.
With that said, it is a disgrace to be a part of the culture and society that, for the majority of us, ignore the recent acts of violence, or rather, murder, towards Nature, namely dolphins, sharks, dogs, whales, and the Great Barrier Reef. And even more so disgraceful, is to see acts of violence escalate from the beings we think are below us in some illusory hierarchy where humans are at the top, to our brothers and sisters, who are essentially us in the most fundamental of ways.
I am referring to Russias bill dubbed anti-gay bill passed on June of last year where the government banned the distribution of information about nontraditional sexual relations to children. Gay rights activists attempted to hold a kissing rally on the Red Square on the day of the voting, but were attacked by Orthodox Christians. Keep in mind that these are the people who claim to follow the Bible, who believe doing good deeds will get them to Heaven, the people who follow the Lords word and some stray version of the Ten Commandments. These people think it is perfectly okay to do horrible acts because the church condones it, and they fail to realize that when a church does not stop its followers from doing such terrible things, the church is no longer a religious institution but rather a political organization with an agenda.
Now, the LGBT community continues being violently attacked by the soi-disant Occupy Pedophilia, a group whose cruel acts of violence, although brought to light by the Human Rights Watch, is being muffled by the Olympics rather than highlighted by it. On Googles front page, there is a quote from the Olympic charter that talks about the Olympic spirit. It says, The practice of sport is a human right. Every individual must have the possibility of practicing sport, without discrimination of any kind and in the Olympic spirit, which requires mutual understanding with a spirit of friendship, solidarity and fair play." The part where it says, [] without discrimination of any kind and in the Olympic spirit, which requires mutual understanding with a spirit of friendship, [and] solidarity [] should not only be applied to sports, but to the human understanding of the differences that exist among humans throughout the world. Through this understanding, people will realize that there are no differences, only similarities: it is all love. Alan Watts said that we are apertures in which the Universe can look at itself. The Universe wants to see love, not destruction, because destruction is already inevitable, we need not expedite it.
I ask you to not watch the Olympics, which means not supporting Russia and its mentality, until the authorities address the abuse against the LGBT community and the stray dogs that are being round up and killed before the winter games.
Thank you for reading and thank you for understanding.
