Chapters 2 and 5 will be taught using a Blended Learning Model where students will
have more flexibility in their progress through the material. In those chapters the
standard marking scheme will not apply

Expectations:
Respect other students, materials and the teacher.
Be on time and bring all necessary materials. Homework checks and quizzes will be at
the beginning of the period.

If you are absent you are responsible for catching up on missed work, test and
quizzes.
Homework is posted daily at http://www.yesnet.yk.ca/schools/fhcollins/homework.html
Digital devices can and will be used in the classroom. When used wisely they can
enhance a students learning. I ask that they be turned off when I am explaining a
concept or generally addressing the class. Texting and phone calls are distracting ,
please text and call in between classes.
A note to parents/guardians: If you need to contact your son/ daughter please do
not text them in class ( it is very distracting for everyone), but call the office and they
will pass the message on.
Students and parents/guardians can have access online to the students mark. Please
provide email contact and I will send you an invitation to join the grade site at
https://www.engrade.com/
This course outline and expectations should be signed by both the student and the
parent/guardian and returned to me by Monday Sept. 2nd, 2014
