The facility will serve all of Clark County.
Section 1.2: Signs

2. The whole operation, consisting of receiving, handling and storing of recycla#le
'aterials, is 'anaged inside. 1o 'aterials will #e stored outside. Transportation trucks
will #e parked outside in the designated area.
,. There will #e ca'eras in place over the rear loading dock in an atte'pt to identify illegal
du'ping of carpet at ti'es when attendant is not present.
Section %.2: Access &oa's

vicinity 'ap. .ccess to the facility is provided #y a co''ercial driveway along Craig Road as
shown on the attached heet !"D.
The access roads inside and around the facility have #een properly graded and drained
and paved to provide easy access in all kinds of weather to all vehicles e6pected to use
the'.

The calculation of the storage capacities of the facility for unprocessed wastes is as follows%

The following steps and corresponding nu'#ers on heet !"D in Ta# $ indicate the
location and flow through the facility of 'anaged wastes, waste 'anage'ent e7uip'ent,
and waste 'anage'ent activities%
1. =astes will #e inspected per ection &.+ of the *perating !lan. =astes with reporta#le

2. .ll vehicles will enter the facility fro' Craig Road. There will #e a facility sign at the loading
dock. .ll vehicles will #e unloaded at the roll4up door, see sheet !"D in Ta# $.
3. K&M Diversified, Inc. picks up used carpet/pad fro' retail stores and co''ercial
custo'ers, after theyCve picked up said carpet as part of the process of delivering and
installing new carpets/pad for co''ercial and residential custo'ers.
4. Trucks will #e loaded and unloaded #oth #y hand and forklift depending on the volu'e of
each load. .t the receiving stage, detailed infor'ation a#out the inco'ing loads will #e
entered into the reporting syste', including receiving date, specifications, source ID, and
weight.
5. The used carpet/pad is sorted and separated, then #aled, weighed and stored until
transport to the end user.
6. K&M Diversified, Inc. will cooperate with our local law enforce'ent to co'ply and assist in
any 'atter if there is a concern of theft of recycla#le 'aterials.
7. =hen inventories are sufficient a load for ship'ent will #e asse'#led, a packing list and
#ill of lading will #e created. =eights will #e o#tained at each receiving recycling facility.
8. =astes with reporta#le 7uantities will #e 'easured per ection &.+ of the *perating !lan.

Section 1#: Water Protection

The facility will not drain industrial waste through a sanitary sewer syste' to a 'unicipal
wastewater treat'ent plant (!*T=).

the pu#lic streets or the e6isting drainage channel to the west. The general drainage
