Features

Newer car features not only make driving safer, but allow
modern conveniences to drivers. Car makers are
eliminating many of the common distractions for drivers,
making the road safer for everyone.

1. Automatic Parallel Parking
Before this innovative feature, people would drive laps
around the block to avoid parallel parking spots. Now,
drivers cant wait to slide into a parallel parking spot on a
busy downtown street. With the click of a button your car
can size up the spots perimeters, start rotating your
wheel, and make you look like a parking champion.

2. Automatic Brakes
The world is a better place now that many new cars have
automatic brakes. By detecting danger in the form of
another car, a person, or a road obstruction, these
brake-systems keep drivers and passengers safe.
Automatic brakes detect danger through a variety of
sensors including radars, video, infrared, and ultrasonic
technologies. With this feature, fewer rear-ends are in
the future.
3. Phone Integration
This feature creates safer, less distracted drivers. By
allowing drivers to talk on their phones, hands-free, the
roads are safer. Smartphone's are able to synch with
audio systems in cars, so that the speaker phone is
activated through the audio. Microphones are installed in
the audio systems so drivers dont need to find their
phones to answer a phone call. The phone just needs to
be somewhere in the car.
Even newer to cars, a texting function allows you have
texts read to you by a computer, and reply to the texts
with voice activation. This feature is becoming so popular
that you can probably even find it in cars. Convenient will
become the most popular word in your vocabulary.

4. Start/Stop Technology
This technology is smart enough to cut off the engine
when your car is in idle and automatically start it back up
when you begin to move, saving your cars fuel. Perfect
for heavy traffic or catching long red lights, this feature
wont let your car waste fuel when youre sitting
stationary. Youll be saving the environment and your
money with this start/stop technology.

5. Pushbutton Gear Selector
Freeing up center console space, this feature allows the
driver to select gears with the touch of a button. Park,
reverse, drive, or put your car in neutral with these
buttons. Found in some cars from the sixties, this retro-
feature is making its way back into cars. You wont have
to worry about gear shifts rusting or sticking when youre
trying to put your car into gears.

6. Intelligent Crash Response System
Instead of a voice clicking on asking you if youre safe
after a car accident, this crash response system
automatically unlocks your doors, disconnects the battery
terminal from the alternator cable, shuts off the fuel
supply, and turns on the warning hazards and interior
lights. Found standard in several Volkswagens, this
system focuses on safety, even after an accident occurs.
As technology advances, safety measures advance
making driving safer for everyone involved. Being a
distracted driver is not possible these pioneering
automobile features.

7. Antilock Brake System
An antilock brake system (ABS) prevents a vehicles wheels from
locking during panic braking, which allows the driver to maintain
greater steering control a key factor in avoiding a collision. However,
an ABS does not guarantee your ability to avoid a crash. Furthermore,
you still may lose control when driving at excessive speeds or when
using extreme steering maneuvers. Learning to use the ABS correctly
will provide you with the greatest benefit from the system.
All passenger cars equipped with ABS have four-wheel ABS. Sport
utility vehicles, trucks, and vans equipped with ABS can have either
four-wheel or two-wheel ABS. Four-wheel ABS monitor and control all
the wheels of the vehicle, while two-wheel ABS only monitor and
control the rear wheels of a vehicle.
8. Air Bags

Depending on the speed at impact and the stiffness of the object struck,
front air bags inflate to prevent occupants from hitting the dashboard,
steering wheel, and windshield. Side air bags reduce the risk that
occupants will hit the door or objects that crash through it.
Although air bags provide life-saving benefits for the vast majority of
people, there are situations in which air bag deployment can have
adverse effects, such as when occupants are unbelted. Front air bags do
not eliminate the need for seat belts and are not designed to offer
protection in rollovers, rear, or side impacts. In fact, maximum air bag
effectiveness depends upon seat belts, which help keep you in place
should a collision occur. You can significantly reduce the risk of injury
from an air bag by buckling your seat belt and keeping about 10 inches
or more between your breastbone and the air bag.

MARKETING MIX

1. Product
The most important element in the marketing mix is the companys
product because this provides the useful requirements required by
customers. For example: a car that does not start in the morning will not
be liked by consumers. Marketing managers develop their products into
brands that help to create a single position in the minds of customers.
The present models are:
E-Don Series - Convertible, Coupe
E-Don X - SUV

2. Price
E-Don price ranges are from approximately $20,000 to $70,000 plus.
There are many factors that can affect their car prices such as engine
size, motor sport versions, etc. Lets take an example of the pricing
strategy that has been used by E-Don for the series is competition-
orientated pricing. Most of the Research shows that all other competitor
such as VW, Audi, BMW and etc. in the series market is based around
the same price. This is because the car industry is large and production
costs are not so important and creating the largest profit is not as
necessary as it would be for a smaller company.

3. Place

E-Don use superior market Dealerships & Imports for non-dealer networked
countries they have four car manufacturing plants in the US. There are more
than 125 dealers in the US who are franchised to sell E-Don cars,
additionally 134 dealers are franchised to sell Minis. Worldwide E-Don
operate in more than 100 different countries with approximately 2,000 plus
dealers which are authorized to sell both new and used cars, parts and after
sales service products.
Pattern of distribution for E-Don is shown below in the diagram which is
followed by the company: -
Manufacturer >>>>> Dealers >>>>> Consumers
