Sacramento LiveStream: Living in a Troubled World

Please join us this week at 11am PST for the transmission of the
divine service from Sacramento Church. This week the message will
be presented by David Zic under the theme of Living in a Troubled
World.
The outbreak of ebola in West Africa, the downing of Malaysian
flight 17, renewed war in Palestine, growing Russian aggression, and
economic discontent are making us feel the signs of the times. But
are we truly understanding how to prepare for what is about to come
upon this earth. These are just the beginning of sorrows. So what
should we be doing? Take therefore no thought for the morrow:for
the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto
the day is the evil thereof (Matthew 6:34). You can join us for this

Los Angeles Report

The 2014 summer canvassing program held in Los Angeles was a
great success. 36 young canvassers from California were joined by
visiting canvassers from Washington
State, Arizona, Nevada, and as far
away as Guadeloupe and Spain. All
told, they distributed many, many
books and materials and gathered
hundreds of contacts for the local
Bible workers. Please keep all these
new interests in your special
prayers.

Publication Pause

The NorCal Reformer will not be published again till August 20.
This two week break is because most of the staff will be in Kenya for
the medical mission trip. When we resume we will have a full report
for you from Kenya.
One important note since we will not be publishing for two
weeks: please be sure to mark your calendar to be in Moriah Heights
for the annual conference under the tent August 30 and 31. Also,
young people, please start registering for the youth team building
event on Sunday, September 1, which will also be held in Moriah
