General safety condition requirements: KEPCO HSE Plan and safety procedures are to be followed at all times.
Minimum PPE to be worn at all times.
This JHA to be available at all points of work operatives must be informed of this JHA and understand the risks involved in
the works.
Tool box talk / pre-job brief to be given at the start of each work shift and before starting a new task or activity.
Summer and Ramadan working hours changes are to be observed and details posted at worksite.
Paramedical or ambulance facilities to be available.
Minimum PPE required: Hard hat, safety glasses or goggles, hi-viz jacket, overalls, safety shoes

4 4 16 -Follow permit to work system with procedures
-All temporary power supply must be installed by a
competent electrician
-De-energized and lock out electrical circuit/parts
you will be working on.
-Personnel shall ensure that suitable Personal
Protective Equipment is worn at all times when
handling sharp or otherwise potentially hazardous
materials
-Personnel shall ensure that a safe system of work
is implemented so as to reduce the possibilities of
accidents/incidents caused by a lack of
communication
-All personnel involved must have electrical
safety/LOTO training.
-All electrical cables for temporary power supply
must be of approved materials and hung using
lead stand to prevent damage to electrical cords
and to prevent slip, trips, and fails
-Measure appropriate length of cable or wire to be
used. Used correct tools in cutting handled and
stored receipt in accordance with procedure for
material control
-All tools should be insulated type
-Ensure that the work being carried out is closely
monitored and supervised by qualified,
experienced and trained Engineer/supervisor.

4 4 16 -Safe access and step ladder to be provided for
work areas at height.

surface.

engaged.
-Ensure the two section of the ladder overlap
according to manufacturer instruction.
-Ensure that all workers are physically and
psychologically fit to work at height and no
inherent ailment or illness during the time of
working at height.
-Ensure that all member/workers who will work at
heights have sufficient training.
-Continue & training should be given to working
men for proper & good working habits at height.
