PLACEMENT ALERT SYSTEM

ABSTRACT
The project entitled PLACEMENT ALERT SYSTEM is developed using
Active Server PageNet as !ront end and MS S"L Server as #ac$ end This project
is ai%ed at developing an online application &or the Place%ent 'epart%ent o& the
college The s(ste% is an online application that can #e accessed throughout the
college #ased on the authentication provided This s(ste% can #e used as an
application &or the Place%ent )&&icer o& the college to %anage the student
in&or%ation *ith regards to place%ent Students can login and upload their
in&or%ation such as their education details and personal details The place%ent
authorit( chec$s and veri&ies the student details *hether the( given their original
details +ased on the co%pan( criteria given #( the recruiters the place%ent
o&&icer updates the criteria in the application &or short listing the students &or &irst
level o& process A&ter short listing the students #ased on the educational su%%ar(
and per&or%ance the %ail *ill #e sent to the individual students regarding the
co%pan( details and the intervie* schedule This process helps to %anage the
intervie* process success&ull( and reduces paper *or$ ,t is user &riendl( and
%anaged in e&&icient %anner
EXISTING SYSTEM:
The e-isting s(ste% is doing all the processes %anuall( The personnel
should re&er all the records $ept &or (ears ago to si%pl( no details This is so
tedious and ti%e consu%ing This process is so di&&icult *hen the nu%#er o& users
increases !or sending the students &or place%ent the( have to en.uire the students
*ho have ac.uired the criteria %ar$s and then the( have to pass the inti%ation to
the students straightl(
