TWO DAY MRP & F CLASS SHOOTIN CONTEST

NEW COURSE FOR 2014: In an attempt to satisfy both sling shooters who prefer the mini Palma course & the F class
shooters who prefer all 600 we have a revised COF to either satisfy or upset everybody!
LOCATION: North of Red Wing, Mn. off Hwy 61 to MM 98 on Greenspring Road. Turn up hill at Greenspring and
follow road to range (about 1 mile) ). PLEASE observe 20 MPH speed limit on Greenspring and 10 MPH
signs at top of the hill.
DATE/TIME: Sept. 20-21, 2014 Entries close 0830 brief at 0840 & pit seals at 0845 Sat. and Sun.
RULES: Current NRA Mid Range Prone & F CLASS rules will be used.
ALCOHOL: Consumption of alcohol is prohibited until completion of the match, all shots have been fired and all
equipment off the line. Alcohol consumption is allowed only in the parking lot behind 600 and in the
camp ground. NOTE: This does not prohibit practice after the match for those not consuming.
COMPETITION
OPEN TO: All shooters. NRA membership not required. NSRC reserves the right to accept or reject any entry but
we cant imagine why we would.

SQUADDING: Squadding will begin at 0800. Due to the difficulty of 3 styles of shooting squadding of all will be random.
ENTRIES: Range capacity is 60 shooters on 3 relays. Priority given to advance entries made by Fri. Sep. 19, 2014.
Post entries accepted up until 0830 on Sep. 20-21.
REFUNDS: Partial refunds of entry fee made in the event of a partial rain out. Full refunds for a full rain out.
Amount TBD depending on how many matches completed.
ENTRY FEE: $20.00 1 day or $35.00 both days. $4.50 goes to NRA.
FOULING SHOTS: There will be a 1 minute fouling period at 300 yards after the prep period during which
You may fire fouling shots into the impact area with targets down.
TARGETS: F class shooters will fire on the F target in all matches all yard lines.
INDIVIDUAL
MATCHES SAT. Match 1 60 shot MRP course as follows:
iron sight MR63 (300 yd) target 2 sighting shots & 20 shots for record
iron sight MR65 (500 yd) target 2 sighting shots & 20 shots for record
iron sight MR 600 (600 yd) yd target 2 sighiting shots & 20 shots for record
Match 2 any sight MR 600 yd target 2 sighting shots & 20 shots for record
Match 3 an aggregate of match 1 & match 2
INDIVIDUAL
MATCHES SUN. Matches 4 & 5 two sighting shots & 20 for record iron sights (scope for F class) 22 min 600 yd
Matches 6 & 7 two sighting shots & 20 for record any sights (scope for F class) 22 min 600 yd
Match 8 an aggregate of 4,5,6 & 7.
Match 9 a 2 day aggregate of match 3 & match 8.
AWARDS: There must be at least 12 entries in each type of rifle for awards. ie: sling shooters, F open & F T/R each
require 12 entries for awards. There must be at least 4 in a class for awards. Awards will be distributed
about 20 minutes after cease fire. Awards WILL NOT BE MAILED. PUH-LEESE hang around if you
think you have an award coming.

CATEGORY AWARDS: There will be category awards for those shooting Palma rifle or Service rifle with iron sights in all
matches if 4 or more entries. There will be category awards for junior, senior, grand senior & woman
with at least 4 entries.

DUTIES: Competitors will be required to score and pull targets for each other during individual & team matches.

CLASSES: NRA Mid Range Prone, F class open, F class T/R classification will be used. If 4 or fewer in a
class they will be combined with the next higher class except masters will not combine with
high masters.
CHALLENGES: There will be a $2.00 fee for each challenge.
