Introduction

Kidneys are the chief excretory organs in

humans. The functions of the kidneys are to
filter wastes from the blood besides
regulating the water and chemical balance
in the body and controlling the chemical
composition of the blood. Kidneys come in
pairs and are about13cm long. It is about
the size of a medium size mango and is
situated in the upper abdomen, just below
the liver and stomach. When you are in a
hot climate, you lose water through your
skin as sweat. If you dont drink enough to
replace the lost water, your kidneys will try
to conserve the water in your body by
producing concentrated, dark yellow urine.
On the other hand, if you drink more than
you need, your kidneys will produce lots of
dilute, pale yellow urine. Drinking less
water will affect your kidneys health and
cause kidney diseases like urinary litiarsis
and urinary infection.

Procedure
1) Fill the bottles with water.
2) Close the cap of the bottle with
water and tie the bottle on the retort
clamp.
3) Put a cup on the upper cardboard.
4) Put another end of the pipe into the
cup.
5) Let the water fill up the cup.
6) After the light emitting diode lights
up and the buzzer give out sounds,
drink the water and wait for the next
round(after one hour).
