SAP BusinessObjects Risk Management 3.0 has been greatly enhanced and expanded to contain all necessary Risk Management functions. Specifically, you
can do the following:
Monitor the current state of Key Risk Indicators automatically in operational source systems (such as ERP) to reduce the manual effort required for a risk
update (new)
Model and simulate the outcome of complex risk scenarios (new)
Document dependencies between risks and modeled event chains providing input for risk scenarios (new)
Document, assess and monitor multiple drivers and impacts for a single risk (new)
Report ad-hoc risk or incident-related events using self-services (new)
Distribute surveys to key personnel to identify new risks or receive an update on the current risk situation (new)
Leverage the existing controls in SAP BusinessObjects Process Control and their mitigating effect on risks (new)
Schedule risk management activities, such as risk reassessments and updates, using the Risk Management Planner functionality (new)
Document, manage and report on opportunities for business activities to balance risk with the potential gain (new)
Collaborate and share responses and enhancement plans across the organization (new)
Ensure full traceability and auditability of information using SAP Records Management (Case Management) (new)
Search for documents on risks, responses or enhancement plans across the organization (new)
Increase usability with an enhanced user interface that matches the look and feel of other SAP BusinessObjects applications, such as SAP
BusinessObjects Process Control (changed).
