Mahakala

Puja
Mahakala Puja
Do this short Mahakala Puja wherever you can - in the park, on a hill, at a waterfall or of course at home.
You may do it at any time, although it is usually done at sunset or twilight.
Do it holding meaningful Bodhicitta in your open heart.
Ofer any available fresh or dried food on the shrine.
At the completion of the puja, you may put the food outside.
From the state of emptiness arises a vast spacious divine skull out of the syllable AH.
Emerging from the skull, a liquidescent letter HUM transforms into an ocean of infnite immaculate oferings of Torma
which encompass all the perfections of odour, taste, colour, energy.
Tong p ng le AH le jung w ye she kyi kapala yang shing gya che w nang du HUM shu
w le jung wa torma kha dog dri ro nu pa phun sum tsog pa dutsi gya tso chen por gyur.
