The quality of air in our university is too polluted. Dust can be seen everywhere.

Since Batu
Pahat is a growing industrial city, the present of the factory indirectly affect the environment of
our university. In polluted air, the concentration of carbon dioxide is greater and this will lead to
breathing problem, apart from causing environmental damage. Thus, the main purpose of this
research is to increase student awareness about the air quality and its impact to mankind. As it
can cause many type of disease, actions should be taken before it getting worst.
To UTHM, this study will likely save the environment of this university. It is because
when the pollution becomes worst it will affect the environment, the air we breathe in can cause
respiratory problem. So, when this study is taken seriously, UTHM will perform action to prevent
this problem from becoming more extreme. As example, UTHM maybe can plant more trees
and make the landscape greener in order to stabilize the concentration carbon dioxide in the
atmosphere.
Lastly, this study is to capture the attention of the authorities as well as the government
itself. We need them tackle this ongoing problem. University is the place for the where the future
leader born. Thus, it must be conducive for study process. Apart from that, our university also
attracts numbers of students from foreign country. The polluted environment will give a bad
description to our country. It will spoil the country reputation in term of environmental cleanliness
in the eyes of the of outsider.
