'umber value 378** assined by &.'. to be used for ?*.P and this value shall also be used in "ource Port 'umber
by all e'0s within a networ#.
'OT2B . multi;homed e'0 implementation should provide the correspondent e'0 with the set of &P addresses
supported durin "1TP association establishment unless the correspondent e'0 already has this
information e.. throuh &P address manaement.
.n arbitrary e'0 shall be able to initiate the &'&T procedure towards another e'0 for establishin the "1TP
association.

; a sinle pair of stream identifiers shall be reserved for the sole use of ?*.P elementary procedures that utili!e

Transport networ# redundancy may be achieved by "1TP multi;homin between two end;points- of which one or both
is assined with multiple &P addresses. "1TP end;points shall support a multi;homed remote "1TP end;point. =or "1TP
endpoint redundancy an &'&T may be sent from either of the e'0s- at any time for an already established "1TP
association- which shall be handled as defined in E@F in K @.*.
The "1TP conestion control may- usin an implementation specific mechanism- initiate hiher layer protocols to
reduce the sinallin traffic at the source and prioritise certain messaes.
