Hexagon/Dodecagon
1. Make a circle and mark the center of the circle as A1. Mark a point horizontally to the right of
point A1, label B1 (A1B1 should be the radius of the circle.)
2. Create a circle with center B1 and radius A1B1
3. On the lower intersection point of the two circles mark C1. Create a circle with center C1 and
radius A1C1
4. On the lower part where circle A1 intersects with circle C1, mark point D1. Create a circle with
center D1 and radius A1D1
5. On the lower part where circle B1 intersects with circle C1, mark point E1. Create a circle with
center E1 and radius B1E1
6. On the lower part where circle C1 intersects with circle D1, mark point F1. Create a circle with
center F1 and radius C1F1
7. On the lower part where circle C1 intersects with circle E1 mark point G1. Create a circle with
center G1 and radius C1G1
8. Mark a point where circles F1 and G1 intersect (lower intersection point) , label H1
9. Mark a point where circles A1 and B1 intersect (upper intersection point), label I1
10. Draw a vertical line from point I1 to point C1
11. On the left side where circle D1 intersect with circle F1, mark point J1
12. Draw a line from point C1 to point J1
13. On the right side where circle E1 intersect with circle G1, mark point K1
14. Draw a line from point C1 to point K1
15. (Begin angle bisect) Draw a circle with a center point of C1 and radius of of line I1C1, label
circle L1
16. Where circle L1 intersects line I1C1 mark point M1
17. Create a circle with center M1 with the radius of circle L1
18. Where circle L1 intersects with line C1J1 mark point N1
19. Create a circle with center N1 and the same radius of L1
20. Where circle L1 intersect line C1K1 mark point O1
21. Create a circle with center N1 and the same radius of L1
22. Where circle M1 and N1 intersect mark point P1 on the left side
23. Where circle N1 and O1 intersect mark point Q1
24. Where circle O1 and M1 intersect mark point R1
25. Draw a line from point C1 to the outer part of circle A1 making sure it goes through point P1
(This should end up looking like a continuation of line C1K1) Label S1
26. Draw a line from point C1 to the outer part of circle B1 making sure it goes through point R1
(This should end up looking like a continuation of line C1J1) Label T1
27. Draw a line from point C1 to the outer part of circle F1 making sure it goes through point Q1
(This should end up looking like a continuation of line I1C1) Label U1
28. Draw a line (this is part of the actual shape) from point I1 to point T1
29. Draw a line from point T1 to point K1
30. Draw a line from point K1 to point U1
31. Draw a line from point U1 to point J1
32. Draw a line from point J1 to point S1
33. Draw a line from point S1 to point I1
34. You should have a shape of a hexagon
35. Rotate the shape 90 degrees around point C1
36. Translate so the new shape isnt ontop of the old one but keep all lines and points
37. Where the new shape (flat hexagon) intersects the old shape (tilted shape) mark a point.
38. Draw a bolded line from each point on the old shape to the closest new points on its left and right.
Repeat until you have the shape of a dodecagon.

Incircle(Hexagon)
39. Bisect the angles of the points in the hexagon.
40. Where the lines intersect mark point V1
41. On line I1T1 mark the halfway point as W1
42. Create a circle with center point W1 with a radius a little less than I1V1
43. Mark the point where circle W1 intersects with line I1T1 on the left side, label X1
44. Create a circle with center point X1 and same radius of circle W1
45. Mark the point where circle X1 intersect with like I1T1 on the right side, label Y1
46. Create a circle with center point Y1 and same radius of circle W1
47. Mark the upper part where circle W1 and Y1 intersect, label Z1
48. Draw a line from point C1 to Z1
49. Create a circle with center point C1 and radius the distance between C1 and W1

Circle inside hexagon
50. Bold the outline of circle C1

Rosette
51. Outline the section in circle C1 where circle B1 and D1 lower overlap. (This should resemble a
flower petal). Mark where they intersect with circle C1 as A2
52. Outline the section in circle C1 where circle A1 and E1 overlap. Mark where they intersect with
circle C1 as B2
53. Outline the section in circle C1 where circle B1 and G1 overlap. Mark where they intersect with
circle C1 as C2
54. Outline the section in circle C1 where circle E1 and F1 overlap. Mark where they intersect with
circle C1 as D2
55. Outline the section in circle C1 where circle G1 and D1 overlap. Mark where they intersect with
circle C1 as E2
56. Outline the section in circle C1 where circle F1 and A1 overlap. Mark where they intersect with
circle C1 as F2

Equilateral Triangles
57. Draw a bolded line between point A2 and B2. Draw a bolded line between point B2 and point I1.
From there draw a bolded line between point I1 and A2
58. Draw a bolded line between point B2 and C2. Draw a bolded line between point C2 and T1. From
there draw a bolded line between point T1 and B2
59. Draw a bolded line between point C2 and D2. Draw a bolded line between point D2 and K1.
From there draw a bolded line between point K1 and C2
60. Draw a bolded line between point D2 and E2. Draw a bolded line between point E2 and H1. From
there draw a bolded line between point H1 and D2
61. Draw a bolded line between point E2 and F2.Draw a bolded line between point F2 and J1. From
there draw a bolded line between point J1 and E2
62. Draw a bolded line between point F2 and A2. Draw a bolded line between point A2 and S1. From
there draw a bolded line between point S1 and F2

Large Fin
63. Draw a circle with center of line SI closer to S1 and radius the distance from S1 to halfway
point of line S1
64. Where circle S1 intersects with line T1I1, label circle I2. Create a circle with center I2 and radius
T1I2
65. Where circle T1 and circle I2 intersect to the left mark point J2. Create a circle with center J2 and
radius T1J2
66. Where circle J2 intersects with circle T1 mark point K2. Create a circle with center K2 and radius
T1K2
67. Where circle K2 intersects on the bottom with circle J2 mark point L2. Create a circle with center
L2 and radius J2L2
68. Where circle J2 intersects with circle K2 mark point M2

78. Create a circle with center O2 and radius of the line O2J2, label the circle R2
79. Create a circle with center I2 and with the same radius of R2, label S2
80. Mark where R2 and S2 intersect on both the top and bottom. Then connect the two points and
label T2 (If needed continue the line so it goes through the triangle - the lines need to all intersect
in the end)
81. Create a circle with center I2 and radius of line T1I2, label U2
82. Create a circle with center S1 and radius U2, label V2
83. Mark where U2 and V2 intersect on both the top and bottom. Then connect the two points and
label W2(If needed continue the line so it goes through the triangle - the lines need to all intersect
in the end)
84. Where all the lines intersect mark point X2
85. Create a circumcircle with center X2 and radius I2X2, label Y2
86. Bold the arch (circle Y2) that connects to points D1 and N2

Small Fin
87. Create a circle with center S1 and radius the distance of of line I1S1, label circle Z2
88. Mark the point where circle Z2 intersects line I1T1, label A3. Draw a bolded line between point
S1 and point A3
89. Create a perpendicular line by drawing a circle with center point S1 and radius of line S1A3.
Do the same for point A3 and draw a line from their top and bottom intersection points. Make
sure the lines distance is the same from S1 to where the line intersects
90. Draw a paraell line to S1A3 at the bottom of the perpendicular line. Make sure it iis the same
distance as the other sides
91. Draw a vertically straight line from A3 to the end point of the parallel line. Label the end point
B3
92. Draw a line from B3 to S1
93. Bisect the angles of the triangle closest to the bottom of the hexagon
94. Where the bisected lines intersect mark point C3
95. Create a circle with center point C3 and radius from C3 to one point of the triangle

Head
96. Mark the center of line J1T1 as point D3
97. Mark a point directly above point D3 by the distance of J1D3, label E3
98. Create an arch between points J1, E3, and S1
99. Bold the parallel line and the part of the circle between the parallel line and the side of hexagon
(should look like a smaller version of the large fin)

Eye
100. Perpendicular bisect line N3T1, label line F3
101. Find the center from the arch to line N3S1 on line F3, label G3
102. Create a circle with center G3 and radius just barely missing the arch

Reflection
103. Draw a line from point D3 to point C1
104. Reflect the large fin, small fin, and the one eye
