Notes:

1. The press is designed to accommodate a biomass mold height of 3 with either a 3 or 4
diameter. If you desire a height greater than 3 , increase the length of parts A & B by the
increased height of the desired mold, and retain the accurate location for the holes at the top of
both Part A and Part B. Also, increase the length of Parts J , K & M appropriately.

2. To minimize swelling of the plunger, Part J , caused by the absorption of moisture, coat the
plunger with oil, grease, lard or any similar water repelling substance.

3. To capture waste water you can tilt the press for drainage by either lengthening the lower
section of Part B (below the base plate, part D) or use the optional cradle, Part F.

Two holes, one on the block end, from top and centered. The second hole
is from top and 5 from opposite end.

1 X 5 X 30 , base plate with grooves, see drawing below for cutouts and
additional dimensions. Fasten with nails or screws
