Plasmolite saves you from the hassles of brickwork, hollowblock and plastering. It is very well integrated with
conventional column and beam and Pre-engineered
buildings. Its erection takes just one-third of the time when
compared to conventional brickwork and plastering which
results in quicker installation and lesser dependency on skilled
labor. It offers savings in raw material (no gravel) and steel
reinforcement in high rise buildings. Plasmolite is made from
mixing stable foam to slurry of cement, sand/flyash. This action
incorporates small enclosed air bubbles within the mortar
thereby making it lighter and possessing special properties
such as low thermal conductivity and high fire resistance. Its
density ranges from 600kg/m3 to1000kg/m3, allowing it to be
used in a variety of applications such as residential high rises,
commercial and industrial. As a result, we can witness
substantial weight reduction (dead-load), improved fire rating
and maximum sound absorption.

The ingredients for the production of

Plasmolite are cement, sand/flyash,
water and foam which is formed in
specifically designed foam generator. The
mix of cement, sand/flyash, water and
foam results in a highly flow-able mix that
is easy to manage and use. It is possible to
produce different grades of concrete by
altering the amount of Plasmolite foam
to the mix. It is possible to produce foam
concrete with wide range of densities,
each having different properties. Lighter
mixes are generally with cement, water
and foam, only providing lower strengths,
but higher insulation parameters. Higher
densities offer more strength at the cost of
larger thermal transmission.

Thermal Wall Insulation increasingly turns

to be the most important issue in the
planning and construction of buildings.
The best solution is, to incorporate thermal
insulation in the mix of a concrete like air
cured Plasmolite CLC. Plasmolite
technology has five times the thermal
resistance of conventional concrete,
which translates to high energy efficient
buildings and reduced building running
costs. The air-embedded in the
Plasmolite CLC is also instrumental for
the high fire-rating. In 600-1000 kg/m
density, a 137-162 mm thick wall has a
fire endurance upto 3 hours. Sound is
experienced as airborne or footfall
(impact). Plasmolite CLC also offers
superior sound insulation.

We plan our processes and products in a manner that includes sustainability before, during and after the
application incorporated under our Green Policy. We strive to minimize the environmental impact of our
products - right from design to disposal - continuously enhancing energy efficiency, reduction in emission
and conversation of resources .
FCB ( fibre cement Board) boards are environment friendly building material and are manufactured
under a strict 'Green Policy' using eco-friendly manufacturing processes. The production process used
for FCB uses pulp from farmed trees only. Under no circumstances, natural forests are decimated with
these raw materials.

Mentioned below are few ways towards greener construction in Plasmolite :

Steam produced in heating process of FCB is re-used in the product curing process.
Waste materials from burning rice husk are recycled into the product.
Water is recycled into vast 'ponds' and reused in the product manufacturing process.
There is no CFS (cold formed steel) in the polystyrene (in case of thermal panels).
HIMI (spacer) is again a green product made from 100% recycled plastic.
Fly ash is a coal combustion residue. At present, less than 50% of fly ash in the world is used; the
bulk of fly ash generated, many hundred million tons a year, is disposed of in slurry ponds or
reservoirs, causing environmental problems. Therefore, most nations encourage increased use of fly
ash. Using fly ash to make building products has several beneficial impacts on the environment,
some of which include: saving energy, reducing solid waste disposal, reducing air pollution and
greenhouse gas, and mitigating global warming. In addition, the design's flexibility and adaptability
lend itself to a broad range of other applications.

Let the brick rest in peace...
