Content (Describe in a paragraph)
This workshop is designed for the intermediate technology user. The course offering
will help teachers to create and incorporate appropriate Web 2.0 presentation tools
in their classroom. Teachers will work with tools such as:
Popplet
Thinglink
Tagxedo
These tools will be used to develop a lesson or create an activity in which the
students can get experience using the tools on their own. Teachers will then add
their creations to their Blog/Website that was created at the beginning of the
training as an ongoing effort to promote collaboration within the learning
community.

List the objectives for this lesson.
Use Web 2.0 tools to enhance instructional delivery and student
presentations in their subject/content area to create meaningful projects to be
used in the classroom
Use at least three tools to create an example for students for an upcoming
unit in the classroom

How will you teach the lesson? Details help.
1. Participants will be introduced to the Web 2.0 tools listed above
2. After reading the story Raggedy Pants and the Dinosaur Wall by Elenora E.
Tate participants will complete a project/activity as a group so that participants
have a guide to work with when they begin to utilize the tool on their own.
3. Participants will create a project individually for each of the Web 2.0 tools and
share their project within the wiki
4. Participants will work in groups/partners based on their Web 2.0 tool selection
to create a lesson/classroom presentation that will be used with an upcoming
unit with a story selection from the curriculum.
5. I will rotate around the room to assist with the use of the tool
