- Thursday, December 8: The four members of the group met to create the structure of

the project. In this session we got a general idea of the hypothesis we wanted to raise
and what are the guidelines that we were going to follow in order to cover the topic that
we have chosen. aving decided this, we have reflected on the type of tests we were
going to perform.
- !onday, December "#: $fter reading %lara&s e-mail, we decided to adapt the stages
that we had decided to use previously. owever, we have decided to have only three
individuals by stage, since we do not have enough children from the proposed stages.
In relation to the written part, we have made the project&s introduction, ta'ing into
account the point that we want to investigate.
- Tuesday, December "(: )e have agreed the animals we were going to use in the test
and we have also selected the photos that we were going to show to the individuals. )e
have chosen coloured photos instead of drawings in order to ma'e the recognition easier
to the individuals, especially to the little children. )hat is more, we have been
investigating and we have found a dictionary of fre*uencies in the library in order to
begin with the development of the theoretical part.
- +unday, December "8: )e have set the number of individuals and we have also
developed the structure of the theoretical part. )e have organi,ed the materials, too.
- Tuesday, December #-: )e have decided what documentation we were going to use in
the theoretical project&s part. )e are going to use parts of .)ords in the !ind/
0$itchison1 and .2inguistic categori,ation/ 0Taylor1. )e have also decided to refute
some of the prototypes theory principles& described in Taylor&s wor'. To that end we are
going to base in our own results. These will be analy,ed on the basis of the guides of
3lena 4aray,5bal&s article. +he made similar tests with children who have )illiams
+yndrome.
- )ednesday, December #": )e have made an introduction&s draft and developed the
motivations. )e have also drawn up a plan for a section of the theoretical part.
- )ednesday, 6anuary 7: )e have analy,ed the results of our first test, the production
one.
- Thursday, 6anuary 8: )e have made the first test&s conclusions from the results that we
had analysed the day before.
- +aturday, 6anuary 9: )e have analy,ed the results of our second test and we have also
made its conclusions.
- Tuesday, 6anuary "-: )e have finished the project doing the bac'ground and the
conclusion of the project.
The best and the worst of the experience
:ow that the project is finished, it is possible to analyse the e;perience both in a
positive and in a negative way. <n the one hand, it seems clear that our group, which
has four members, have a more varied range of perspectives, opinions, ideas, etc. than a
person who wor's by her or his own. $s a way of e;ample, it has been easier to find a
high number of children and young people to ma'e the tests of our project. owever, on
the other hand, it seems also *uite difficult to reach an agreement, since they are many
different opinions, proposals and ideas. )hat is more, another inconvenient has been the
difficulties to meet in order to carry out the project, since the members of the group live
far from each other.
