!ith encouraging an" establishing moral alues that a"ocate that true beauty

lea"ing con#i"ent' enriche"' an" success#ul lies%

eery 3222 teenage" girls (hhs.gov)% 7ooking more into "etails' it !as clear that the problem is much
higher in +allas8Te9as area% :n 1231' there !ere 66%6 births #or eery 3222 teenage" girls (the national)
in Te9as% This statistic !as an eye opener e9perience #or Coergirl% The #ollo!ing #igure sho!s the teen
birth rate among girls age" 3;<35 by states%
:t is noticeable that the teen pregnancy rate in Te9as is among the tops in the 4nite" States o#
America% :n opposite' the rate is much lo!er in the northeast states% This in"icate" that !e hae a ery
serious issue to "eal !ith% Stu"ying more con#irme" that the ma=ority o# the teens !ho are getting
pregnant at early ages are Hispanics an" A#rican Americans (hhs.gov). As it is !ell kno!n' Te9as use"
to be part o# Me9ico' the Hispanics population is much higher in Te9as oer the other states% .e reali/e"
that this #act contribute" the most to!ar"s higher teen pregnancy rate in Te9as% The #ollo!ing chart
sho!s the birth rates per 3222 #emales ages 3;<35 by race8ethnicity #or the perio" o# 3552<1231%
Another #act that contribute" the most to!ar"s the teen pregnancy problem is the abortion is banne" in
the state o# Te9as (Nytimes.com). So that i# a teen is pregnant by acci"ent' she cannot choose to abort
her un!ante" chil"%
The stu"y sho!s that most o# the chil"ren born #rom a teenage" mother are poor' sick an" less
e"ucate" (sites.google)% The main reason o# this being true is a teenage" mother "i"n,t get a chance to
concentrate on her career an" earn enough money to support hersel# an" her chil"% Also' it is "e#initely
not an age o# being a mother' an" take that much o# responsibilities% The teenage pregnancy problem is
not only ba" #or the #uture o# a chil"' but also it is consi"erably risky #or the teenage" mother an" her
baby%
