This newsletter brings exciting news about RCCs
future. We currently have over 200 members and are
growing, growing, growing. This growth is evidence
that our members have been reaching out and sharing
the word about RCC with family, friends, and co-
workers whenever you have had the opportunity.
These efforts have generated new members, and we
salute you.

Yes, we are out in neighborhoods knocking on doors
and passing out RCC literature. If you signed up to

Outreach
Do you like to talk to people
and engage with your
community but are not
comfortable with canvassing?
Then this is for you! As part of
our outreach initiative, we have
been passing out flyers,
participating in Downtowns
First Friday, visiting churches,
and taking advantage of other
opportunities to spread the
word. Are you willing to
become a member of the
outreach team? We could sure
use your smiling face in these
efforts as we continue to move
forward the RCC. Remember,
reaching out to others is
something we can all do, and is
necessary as we approach the
opening of our store.

Strawberry Punch
Bowl Cake

Ingredients
2 yellow cake layers
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons strawberry gelatin
1 cup water
2 cups fresh strawberries, cut in 1/2 (if
berries are extra-large, they can be cut into
quarters)
16 oz cool whip

For the glaze:
In a medium saucepan, stir together sugar,
cornstarch, and gelatin; add water. Cook,
stirring, over medium heat until thick.
Remove from heat and allow to cool
completely. Fold in strawberries.
For assembly:
Place 1 layer of cake in a large clear bowl.
Top with a layer of glaze, followed by a
layer of cool whip. Repeat layering in this
order for remaining cake, glaze, and cool
whip. Garnish with strawberries and serve
chilled.
