B" 6an#ates
1. Implement stricter background checks to deny anyone convicted or arrested of a crime
or felony especially those that were arrested or tried of rape, aggravated assault,
burglary.
2. Implement stricter background checks on psychological history. There should be a
psychological health screening or lie detector test that delivers accurate answers as to
why the gun is needed.
3. It should ban large capacity magazines, especially those that enable continuous and
large amount of rounds to be fired.
4. There should be a waiting period before the customer receives the gun.
5. Customers should be informed that there is an implementation of increased tracking
methods to track criminals' use of bullets, magazines and the weapon as a whole.
6. Decreased ability to brandish a hand weapon in public especially demolish the ability
of Florida citizens to lawfully brandish and fire a gun haphazardly.
7. Decrease how many guns the citizen could possess.
8. Require a educational course to discuss the use and implications of possessing this
weapon.
C. Enforcement: If any laws are broken the citizen could be arrested and incarcerated if
necessary.
1. First Offense: The privileges to own a hand gun are revoked, but the suspect should be
jailed if he or she harms others or plots to do so.
2. Second Offense: The person is arrested for a second time of disobeying the law
3. Third Offense: Incarceration for a minimum of a year or two based on jail
overcrowding and such.
D. Funding and Staffing
1. Extra staffing for psychologists and agents to provide checks before the gun is
purchased
2. Extra funding to provide programs that educate people about their gun use
3. Extra staffing to implement better tracking mechanism on each part of the weapon

1. $ccor#in) to scholars at Duke .ni+ersity, honest citizens
have nothing to fear from gun registration and licensing
which will curb crime by disarming criminals which
supports registration that would help lessen the amount of
crime that occurs. This statement is true to the fact that non
law abiding citizens are affected by gun registration and
licensing and law abiding citizens are in turn safer.
2. This influences non law abiding citizens to begin to follow
the law to escape repercussions.
3. In turn this aids in the safety of those who do abide by the law
because these citizens are the individuals that deserve and
desire to be protected rather than criminals.
4. Thus gun owners couldnt easily dispose of guns or hide
behind the faulty tracking methods that gun manufacturers
use.

of Cornell .ni+ersity, 2Those who are for tougher gun restrictions should favor the gun safety
frame, which may be especially powerful in the wake of the recent tragedies. Analysts agree
that a step away from mass shootings and great displays of violence is the education of the gun
owner.
