Give the necessary equipment, tools, materials, supplies and information the candidate is

Project 1: connecting hardware peripherals and connecting workstations to the internet
Task 1: connect hardware peripherals and operate personal computer
Task 1.1 Identify and connect the peripherals that you have provided
Task 1.2 start the computer
Task 2: Connect the computer to the internet
Task 2.1 connect the computer provided to the hub/switch or to wall outlet using appropriate
cable
Task 2.2 configure the connection using the following information which you will be provided
with
IP Address
Subnet mask
Default getaway
Preferred DNS server
Task 2.3 Browse www.google.com
Project 2: Installation of Application Software
(Time allotted 30 min)
Task 1: Install Application Software
Task 1.1 Upgrade MS office 2003 to MS office 2007
Task 1.2 Find out all system requirements for installing MS office 2007 (write those
requirements on MS word document and save it by the name requirements on the desktop)







Project 3 Operate personal computer
(Time allotted 1 hour)
Task 1: Operate personal commuter
Task 1.1 Customize your desktop icons
Task 1.2 Change the start menu to classic view
Task 1.3 Crate the following Folder structure in My Document
COC\ICT\SUPPORT
Task 1.4 Change the folder icon COC to a Globe icon
Task 1.5 Create a shortcut for the folder COC in your Desktop
Task 1.6 Hide the folder Support and show when the Assessor asks you
Task 2: Create the following document in MS-Excel Program.
Task 2.1 Write the computer hardware and software Specification that you are using
