1. Introduction
This document is the result of two years of cooperative work between seven schools
from seven countries:
Greece: 4th Primary School of Glyfada;
Hungary: Magyar Szlovk Kt Tantsi Nyelvu Nemzetigsi ltalanos Iskola s
Kollgium;
Lithuania: Vilniaus Pranciskaus Skorinos vidurine mokykla;
Portugal: Didxis Cooperativa de Ensino, Riba de Ave
Turkey: Kusadasi Rahime Bilici Ilkogretim Okulu;
Romania: Liceul Tehnologic de Servicii "Sfantul Apostol Andrei", Ploiesti;
Slovakia: Zkladn skola
Here can be found some of the documents, which were made by students and
teachers of the participating schools.
There are two common works to all countries: first one was the construction of the
logo of the project; the second one is related to the history of aviation. In addition to these
two common jobs, we will be able to find other works related to the solar system or even
with the possibility of extraterrestrial life.

1.1. Logo
One of the decisions taken in the first meeting was the preparation of the project
logo that includes a contribution from each of the participating schools. The final result,
after the junction of the contributions of each country, can be seen in figure 1.

It has now been some time that Daedalus and Icarus have left the Labyrinth(the Maze
like prison) of Crete and keep flying over the Cretan Sea. Icarus has a lot of fun. He sees the
birds, the fish, the clouds, the islands and so many other things.
Then, a bird (a stork) comes close and asks him:
What are you doing here? The business of the humans is on land.
I know. Its that my father and me, wanted to escape king Minos prison and we
took to flying.
Oh, yes! I see now.
So, Icarus and Daedalus keep going on this wonderful and amazing journey! They see
the mountains, the forests, the boats and so many more things!
Icarus has such fun that he forgets his fathers advice, goes close to the sun, his wings
melt down and then he falls into the sea and gets drowned. The sad Daedalus goes back to
Athens.

-I am Ikarus and I left Crete along with my father Daedalus.
From Crete on, I keep flying over the Aegean Sea and from high up, I see so many fish
swimming under water.
-I fly by above the whole world, I am so happy!
-I see all of the ancient world, I fly over so many islands!
-I have met with lots of birds during my flight and we became friends.
So many bad things might have happened like a sea-storm that might wet my wings,
or the high winds could unfasten them, to mention only two dangerous things.
But nothing like that happened. What happened was that I didnt listen to my fathers
advice and I kept flying higher and higher up to reach the sun.
Then the wax in my wings melt and I fell into the sea.
That was my story!

When Daedalus and Icarus left Crete they were flying over the Aegean Sea when they
were met with a stork (a big migrating bird), and the stork asked him.
- Are you all alone here in the sky?
- No, Im in the company of my father Daedalus the famous mechanic and
craftsman.
- Icarus, come here and have a look at those clouds.They form magnificent
things
Ikarus saw the little birds and kept telling to his dad.
- Dad, dad, look at those birds!
- What kind of birds do you see Ikarus?
- I see some canaries, pigeons, a stork and two eagles.
- But Ikarus, we must not spend our time playing with the birds. We have to fly
quickly to Athens that is why you must keep always flying next to me.
But Ikarus didnt pay any attention, to his fathers words, and he flew very high close
to the sun, so his wings failed and he fell into the sea and was killed.

Daedalus and Icarus are flying over the sea at last. There is peace, comfort and love.
It was like a dream to them, a dream they were not going to forget ever.
They would see the little birds singing in the sky. Little houses, small islands, the
beautiful Nature.
They liked the warm sea they used to see beneath them so much. It was so nice!
Their joy was immense. They kept telling to themselves: peace, nature; they were free!!!
They saw some children at play. Some others were smiling or talking to each other.
They passed over a school. The children saw them and would say:
Look Daedalus and Icarus are up in the sky!.
They were so happy, because at last their dream had come true and we know that
everyone has a dream!
Full of joy Daedalus and Icarus, came upon an unknown lake with no name. But it was
so marvelous, it shone it was so beautiful. It was like a wonder something no-one could ever
forget. Suddenly they heard a music so calm and soft. They landed and they discussed
between them what a wonderful thing life is! Life was a miracle they wouldnt ever forget!

Once upon a time there was a prisoner called Daedalus, an excellent technician that
would invent many things.
He was in prison because King Minos didnt let him go to prevent him from going to
another kings court and make even nicer things there. So he desided to make wings in order
to escape along with his son Icarus.
So they left. When they were flying over the sea they would see so many fishes. It
was very hot, but still they would see animals and peoples houses on land.
Suddenly a hawk came near and frightened them.
Daedalus and Icarus were scared and flew away. Soon, the hawk left them But the
sea would grow rough and the waves were higher and higher
As they were flying close to the sun, they saw a house and went there. Icarus wanted
to fly more, and he didnt listen to his father so, he went close to the sun.
The wax melt and he fell into the sea and drawned.

They see dolphins, seagulls with their long sharp beaks, they watch the blue wavy sea
and so many beautiful fish swimming. -They see from above the most beautiful islands of
Greece and theyre anxious to reach Athens.
They might have come across predating birds, as well as upon pidgeons , nightingales
and so many others.
Daedalus had warned Icarus not to fly too high because the sun could destroy his
wings and if he happened to fly too law his wings might get wet. He told him to fly mid-high!
But Icarus wouldnt listen.
At a certain point they would fly over a small island and all the people looked at them
and wondered! How are they flying? Look at them. Because as you know, one of mans
greatest dreams was to fly!
Daedalus felt wonderful and felt free! Icarus kept going higher and higher and he
didnt mind that the wax might melt!! Then, suddenly the sun melt his wings!
Daedalus tried to catch him but he couldnt make it!

Icarus fell into the sea and this sea is now called Icarian Sea and the nearby island
was named Icaria.
That was the story of a man who wanted to fly.

4.2. The impact of Space on humans life.
The Universe includes
planets, stars, galaxies and all
matter and energy. The Universe -
is a huge space, and it is becoming
more and more. Our Solar System
is only a small part of the Universe.
The study of what happens
in the space helps people to take
the necessary measures to
preserve life. With the help of
spacecrafts launched from Earth,
they not only can observe the processes that occur on our planet, but also to take timely
corrective action. For example, you can be forewarned about some natural phenomena:
strong hurricanes, floods, and other magnetic storms.
For learning and using the
Space, humanity is constantly
reinventing and launches into space
more and more new spacecraft.
Today there are a huge amount of
space satellites, whereby at the world
is carried out television, telephone
and radio communications.
The Universe or cosmos - is the
whole world around us. All celestial
bodies are difficult way of
development. But no matter how they have changed, that from which they are made,
indestructible, therefore the Universe is infinite and eternal.

4.3. Saturn
The rings of Saturn
are the most widest
planetary ring system of
any planet in the Solar
System. They consist of
countless small particles,
ranging in size from
micrometres to metres,
they are in orbit about
Saturn. The ring particles
are made almost entirely
of water ice. There are also
countless rings.
In 1610, the year after Galileo Galilei first turned a telescope to the sky, he became
the very first person to observe Saturn's rings, though he could not see them well enough to
explain their true nature. In 1655, Christiaan Huygens was the first person to describe them
as a disk surrounding Saturn.

4.4. "If I flew in space to other planets ..."
Nights in summer and winter, the
weather is nice, I like to look at the starry
sky. There are so many honest reports no
planets on which you want to visit. And
here's my dream come true! I'm going to
space. Me and my friends. It takes a few
light-years and we're in another star
system. Find a planet where there is life.
Acquainted with other civilizations. Speak
to them o f course we cannot. Therefore,
we deal with the music, which have
brought the language understandable to all sounds. Ali new and interesting, we videotaped
and took home with them, on the planet Earth.

4.5. Travelling by plane
In the old days people had to travel several days, weeks and months to get to the
place they needed. They either went on foot, rode horses or sailed on boats or ships. Today
we have cars, undergrounds, trains and planes. Almost all people like travelling. It is very
interesting to see new places, another towns and countries. People may travel either for
pleasure or for business purposes. There are various means o f travelling. For me there is
nothing like travelling by air.
Nowadays lots of people travel by plane. Its very comfortable means of travelling
because you can get to the place you need in a few hours. Also you can enjoy the wonderful
scenery and landscapes from the plane window. While traveling by plane you fly past various
villages and cities as well as you can see how beautiful your place of visit is.
I think its very interesting to travel across the world. It helps us to find out a new
information about countries, places and culture.

5.3.1. A visit to Mars
In a faraway future, when exploring other planets was something very normal, two
scientists, Catherine and Michael, were in Mars with the purpose of collecting as much new
information as they possibly could.
But what the scientists really hoped for was finding something special. Our neighbour
planet has been suspected of containing life, or at least traces of it, for a really long time but
no one ever could find something that confirmed it, so, Catherine and Michael intended to
be the first ones to get it. Unfortunately, until that moment, they had just found rocks. Rocks
and more red rocks that confused them and made them get lost constantly.
And that was what happened on that day. While they were collecting samples of
rocks from an unexplored part of the planet, they got distracted and lost their way, until
they found something at least curious.
Half covered by a big rock was a little tunnel whose opening allowed only a human
got in by crawling. They checked if they had enough material to explore and they were about
to get in when, out of nowhere, a little green being, with big eyes and covered in various
devices, walked out of it.
Both the scientists and the little being were completely frightened but, eventually,
they calmed down and, after pushing some buttons of one of the devices, the creature said:
- And, after all, it looks like you finally managed to find us
- But, but you are an alien! Are there more like you around here? Said Catherine
Where have you been for all these years while we were investigating here?
The Alien, that introduced himself as Beebop, told them that all of them lived inside
their little tunnel, on an underground city, since the conditions of Mars changed
dramatically, extinguishing almost every kind of life on the planet. They had already lived
there for centuries when the first humans walked on Mars, some decades ago, but they had
never showed themselves because they were afraid of what the human race might do to
them. So, to make sure that no one would find them, they created devices that could decode
the various languages of the earth and organized patrols of little Martians that left
constantly, fake clues all over Mars surface, making evidence of their presence there almost
impossible.
- You have to help us get to our base, Beebop! Said Michael We are a little bit lost
and, if we can get the cameras here, this may be the discovery of the century! Im already
seeing the online news saying: Life on Mars Finally Found thanks to two dedicated space
explorers

- You know I cant do that! After all, our species is very fragile and wouldnt survive if
humans started coming here just to investigate us Ill show you where your base is if you
promise never to tell what you saw here today
The two scientists wanted to disagree but, even if they found their way back all by
themselves, they would never find Beebop again and, without any proof of what they have
just seen, no one would ever believe in them.
Finally, they decided to act like Beebop wanted. He took them to their base, said
goodbye and disappeared on the red desert in front of them.

5.3.2. An encounter with aliens
In a sunny morning, a five-year-old child noticed a weird light passing through the sky
and screamed with excitement and fear all at the same time. Some people followed the light
and some ran away from it, as if there was no tomorrow.
A weird looking spaceship landed in a school garden and hundreds of people were
there to see it. The creatures that came out this ship looked weirdly nice and friendly;
nothing looked alike with the stereotypes of aliens.
They were 2 meters tall, red skin and multiple eyes, at least at first, they changed
form rather quickly and they were quite scary. They could transform themselves in humans
in less than two seconds. This became worldwide new in less than an hour.
This species that had just arrived to our planet earth left a lot of curiosity, but no one
dared to stand in front of them. But they knew they had to do something, because they
couldnt let those unknown beings stand there. So, they called the best scientist they knew
to try to understand them.
Guhji, the scientist, approached the aliens carefully and every step he took was taken
with fear, but he knew that a thing like that would never happen again in his career, so Guhji
kept going until he arrived at the spaceship. Tkifugyo, the name of the chef of the aliens as
he would later discover, received him with confusion.
The study that lasted a couple of months was very peaceful and both human kind and
alien kind respected each other throughout the whole process.
Several months later the aliens went back to their home planet. And the conclusion
of the study was that what we know about this universe is practically nothing and also that
we probably will never know even half of it.

5.3.3. Strange figures in the field
At night, a farmer was sleeping when suddenly, he woke up because of a strange,
bright light coming through the window of his room. He didnt knew what that was and he
was curious to know, so he went to the window and saw strange signs on the land. He
walked down the stairs and he went to the farm. Now everything was dark. There wasnt any
light. Suddenly, the light came back and when the farmer looked closer, he could see a
spaceship. He was confused and scared. That entire situation was really strange. Then, two
green, small beings came out the spaceship and went to the farmers direction. He was
terrified. Then, suddenly, the farmers dog started barking and now the two being were the
ones who got terrified. They run to the spaceship and the last thing the farmer remembers
from that night was seeing all that disappearing in front of his eyes. The next morning the
farmer woke up on his bed and we was surprised because he never had such a strange
nightmare. He went to the window and he saw that signs on the land again. He realized that
that wasnt just a nightmare...and he still couldnt believe it...

5.3.4. Story of aliens
The main character of my story is Nancy and she is 20 years old.
She was at her best friends home when her best friends father entered at his home
and said that they should go out because there was something strange in the garden. They
went to the garden and saw a silver object flying.
At the end, they called to the police that took the object for investigate.

5.3.5. "The car was totally immobilized"
This story is about a woman called Nancy who had her first experience with UFO's
and aliens at the age of twelve years old.
In the summer of 1961 when I was twelve years old, I was at my girlfriends house and
we were playing and her father yelled for us to come outside, he wanted us to see
something. When we walked outside we immediately saw a giant silver craft. It was silently
hovering above a tree. It had red, green and white lights that I thought at the time were
rotating but I realize they were pulsating.
Someone called the police. Two Novi police came. Her father actually brought a
telescope out and he asked me to look through the telescope, I said, 'Why? It's right there.' I
didn't even understand why I would even look through a telescope. It was so close. And then
there was a car coming down the road. There was a tree here and a craft here and a car
coming down the road and as it got right underneath the craft, a beam of light came out of

the bottom and it went right to the roof of the car and as soon as it touched the car, the car
was totally immobilized.
I just remember screaming and being excited and jumping up and down. I remember
tugging on one of the police officers arms and saying, 'Do something. Do something.' After
that I remember being home and Niom and Dad telling me to not talk about it, forget about
it, hoping that I would forget about it and it would go away. So for fifty years I never shared
it with anyone, not with family or friends or anyone.
Six months ago I met Dr. Harry Wellness and I told him my story because he was a
Ufologist and I knew he would believe me and not think I was crazy. He found a regression
therapist for me. I had no idea I just wanted to remember the incident more clearly. And at
the end of the first regression I remember seeing that my body was rumbling, was a word I
never used. My body was rumbling and waving to the low hum of the craft and that was the
end of the first regression.
In the second regression, I actually remember being aboard and a procedure that was
performed on me. There were three Greys. They performed a laparoscopy on me. In 1961 in
the medical field there were no laparoscopy.
They explained to me that they wanted to see inside. They described themselves as
teachers. They promised they would get me home safely. I remember in that regression that
as the craft was leaving they let me see them leaving and they wanted me to see them
leaving. The reason being that they promised and they telepathically told me, 'See we told
you we would get you back safely.' That was important to them to relay that message to me.
In the third regression I remember communication that I had with, I called him Mr.,
because that's how we refer to adults, Mr. and Mrs. back then. And I remember my
conversation with him as I was leaving the craft. And he corrected me that it was called a
ship and the reason it was called a ship was that it goes in the water as well as in the air.
And I watched how the doors shut. They shut like this. They wrapped around. All the
instruments that they use on me when they did the laparoscopy were retractable. They all
came out of the wall. It was all neat and clean. There was nothing in there. It was just silver,
white floor, a silver table that I was on.
Three Grey beings. The pilot looked like a normal anybody's dad. I said Mr. why did
you let them hurt me. And he said, 'Your pain was perceived.' And I got really mad at that
remark. I realize that my pain. I realize now that my pain was perceived. They didn't hurt me.
They didn't want to hurt me. But I was watching the needle and seeing the needle. My pain
was perceived.
I remember the first night that I got home after I was taken, staring out my bedroom
window forever. And wishing for them to comeback. 'Please come back, please comeback.'
I'm here. Come get me.

5.3.6. A gas station
Two plutonics were traveling around the universe and they stopped in a gas station
called moon.
They parked the spaceship near a flag with red and white stripes ad also with stars.
The plutonics started thinking about the flag they were curious and they wanted to
know more that flag.
They turned an iPad and their Optimus Kanguru hotspot and searched on Google
plutonic, but they didnt find anything about the strange flag.
One of them looked in front and saw a blue planet called earth and they searched on
Google Earth and discovered that flag belong to the USA.
The plutonics went back to the spaceship and travel to earth. When they arrived, the
first stop was in Roosevelt, to see an old friend.
They found out that person who put the flag on the moon was Neil Armstrong.
They went back to the moon, but the scene fallen again Its true the scene used
since 1969.

5.3.7. Strange phenomena during a tour
It happened one night on the summer of 2012. Me and my parents were on our way
to come home by car, when my mom saw strange lights blinking and moving at the sky. My
dad pulled over the car, as many other people did. Everyone was wondering what those
lights were there, so I thought that were shooting stars. I took some pictures and then I
came home with my parents.
During the night I dreamt I was being sucked to a ship at the sky, like I was levitating,
and when I arrived there I saw the same people I have seen looking at the blinking lights on
that road. Then came two green aliens with five eyes each and they took me to white room
full of complex equipment and a chair. I sat down and they started taking samples of my
blood. I seemed to be sedated because I did everything they have ordered without fighting
back.
After doing me lots of tests they said (since they talk several languages) that I should
convince people that they are real and they will come back to Earth. Then I left the ship and
wake up in my bed. I thought that is had been just a dream, until I looked at my desk and
there were pictures of me and the two aliens at the white room, as proof of its existence and
I realized that it hadnt been just a dream.

5.4.1. Physics applications on space
Physics is a science area, very important nowadays for all of us, because without it,
nothing of what we know would exist. Physics can have lots of applications, such as GPS,
telecommunications, space exploration
GPS (Global Positioning System) is a system composed by 3 segments: space
segment, composed by 24 satellites that orbit the Earth in 12 hours; control segment,
composed by 5 control stations; user segment, composed by the receptors. Satellites send
electromagnetic signals that arrive to the receptors, which calculate the time that longs to
the signal to reach it. Then, by the method of triangulation, in which 3 satellites are needed
at minimum for localization, latitude, longitude and altitude where the system is, are
determined. However, in order to get a good localization, are needed 4 or more satellites
GPS can be applied in several applications , like navigation, map building, military, and
defining a route.
Besides GPS applications, physics in space are even more useful. There are
geostationary satellites (Which means that theyre always at a fixed point on the Earth
planet) which are for telecommunication purposes (information transmission on applications
like TV, radio, cell phones or internet), meteorological observation (studying and forecast big
storms formation), environmental analysis (studying CO2 emissions, destruction of the
ozone layer, temperature changes of the oceans water) and military purposes (studying the
troops movements, foresee the enemies attacks, monitor hazardous areas).
There are even more uses of physics on space, like telescopes and space stations,
which study the universe and its evolution.

5.4.2. Space exploration 1
Nowadays space exploration is an unknown reality for most people and when it is
mentioned some people tend to think about little symbolic thing like astronauts, space ships
or the first time a man walked on the moon. Others might even say that the enormous sums
of money spent on this field should be used to improve health care systems and education
relate programs, instead of being used to explore the Universe.
Unfortunately, what a major part of population doesnt know is that space
exploration has significantly improved their lifes quality. If there wasnt space exploration
science and technology would not be as advanced as they are and therefore devices we take
for granted and use everyday wouldnt exist.

Certain types of technology that were developed in order to be used in the
exploration of the Universe were later applied to real life contexts. Good examples of
these are satellites. Initially their function was limited and not available for the civilians
direct benefit. However, currently satellites play a major role in everyday situations being
used to help in the prediction of natural catastrophes and weather conditions and in GPS
Global Positioning System.
Besides that, space exploration might someday answer the several questions about
the origin and future of the Universe and even about humans themselves. And, like someone
once said, the costs of space exploration would be a small price to pay for valuable and life
changing information related to questions that have been unanswered for hundreds and
hundreds of years.
Having that in consideration, we can reach the conclusion that space exploration
brings to mankind loads of practical information and instruments and that the investment on
space exploration is essential. Like Michael Collins once said: Its human nature to stretch,
to go, to see, to understand. Exploration is not a choice really, its an imperative.

5.4.3. Space exploration 2
In general, peoples opinion about spatial exploration is that it is a pure method of
scientific development and research, a way for scientists to raise their knowledge about the
universe. However, spatial exploration progresses are present in our daily lives.
One of the most famous examples for this is the Global Positioning System, more
known as GPS. It is a web of 24 satellites displaced all over the planet which allow us to
localize ourselves, to define our travel throughout an unknown country or simply to choose
the best road to go to work.
Nowadays, internet is probably the most important tool in our daily live. It is essential
for keeping us in touch with each other, it is a great way for us to be informed, it is deeply
necessary for some jobs and its also a distraction, a mean to occupy our free times. And
without the advances of spatial exploration, it wouldnt be possible to have such a powerful
and useful tool.
There are many more examples of advantages brought by this, as mobile phone
communication, weather previsions, ozone status, micro-wave ovens, international TV
broadcasts and solar power systems.
Space exploration is, therefore, very important in our lives. Without it, we wouldnt
be able to use many of the things we use every day.

We've all noticed that in recent years there has been a huge technological
development. In such little time, technological equipments were created that were
prototypes and dreams of a distant future. All these technologies and this progress have
been accompanied by a huge danger of dependency but I will dwell on the benefits of this
evolution.
All this technological development is only possible due to space exploration. With
this, you can develop mobile phones and GPS accuracy, forecast the weather and also
improve the management of sustainable resources to make sure that due to satellites
nothing will be missing to the future generations. These improvements can be seen not only
at the level of technology advances, but also as sources for other purposes, such as, the
saving of human lives. How? Satellites can track people in natural disaster areas. The saving
of people is also possible due to health improvement: increased speed in the discovery of
blood clots that can cause strokes, for example.
As we can see space exploration has an indefinable importance and behaves like one
of the main sources for the development of our planet. Without it, our "House" wouldnt be
so developed as it is currently.

6.2.1. Magic Christmas

It was a beautiful winter day.

Alex was a very intelligent boy with a great heart. His only wish for Christmas was to
spend some time with his mother who had been working abroad for a long time. He missed
her a lot because living away from his mother was very painful. He could communicate with
her only using the computer.
Three days before Christmas he realized that he was fed up with his life without his
mother, so he decided to make something great combining the magic and joy of Christmas
with the new technology and his intelligence. Therefore he built 2 rockets with jet engines in
his yard and he attached them to his Christmas tree. Moreover, he added a comfortable
pillow to sit on during the journey and some reserves of food.
He kissed his father goodbye, then he got in the new built means of transport and
took off immediately in order to go to America, the place where his mother had been
working for so long.
First he flew past my house with his special Christmas tree with jet engines and he
waved goodbye to me as well, saying that he was going to his mother from America. I was
amazed to see what interesting means of transport he invented!
He continued his journey and on Christmas Eve he arrived in America where he met
his mother. They were very happy to see each other and they felt the Christmas joy and
happiness for real.
This was the story of a child who loved his mother so much, that he invented a new
means of transport to travel to a distant continent in order to spend an unforgettable
Christmas with her.

6.2.2. The Flying Sled

Holidays, especially the winter ones, are a delight for the two cousins Alina and
Bogdan. They decided that after the Christmas spent with their parents to make a surprise to
their grandparents.
They live in a small, welcoming house, that is now covered with the white, puffy
snow.
The whole village is covered in the sparkling snow.
Immediately after they arrived, the grandfather took them to a big, red sled that he
prepared especially for his grandsons. The children were delighted by the sled given as a
present by their grandparents, especially because from the toboggan run they could hear
the happy calling of other children.
`Bogdan, lets put wings to the sled! Well go down with such a speed, that the wings
will help us to fly above the snow!`
The grandfather told them to look in his tool house for the necessary stuff for their
plan. They found two wooden boards that they cut in the shape of two wings and, with the
help of their grandfather, they put them on the sled.
Alina and Bogdan, with rosy cheeks and being watched by the other children,
embarked on the flying sled. It seemed that even the snowflakes stopped to see that
amazing sled.
`Were flying! Its a dream come true!`, said Bogdan.
The whole air filled with the abyssal joy of the children. That was how the two
children got their wish that they dreamed about for all their lives. One thing is certain:
surely, well always find something fascinating at our grandparents!

One hot summer day I went to my father to see what he was doing.

Hi! Ive tried to fix our car but it does not work anymore!
Oh...
I went into the living room to watch TV. There was a documentary about Holland.
While watching I was wondering what I can do to go to Holland. Suddenly, I had an idea. I
went to my fathers garage. I took the old cars engine and some tools and I tried to fix it
onto the couch.
I also made a remote controller in order to start the engine and I waited for my
parents to go shopping.
As soon as they left, I took a map and I sat on the couch and started flying.
I was hoping to get to Holland and that was exactly what happened.
I am here! I told to myself.
I stepped down and went to a fun fair. After I had visited the wax museum, I strolled
on the streets, among the scented flowers.
It was so beautiful.......that I could hardly leave, but it was late, so I had to go home.
After a long, tiring trip I got home right before my parents.
It was such a pleasant, beautiful experience that I would always repeat.

6.2.4. The Fulfilled Wish

An elf found a baby quail with one broken wing. The baby was looking, with its eyes
full of tears, for its mother and siblings that had already flown to warm countries, because it
could not do that anymore. Then, in the elfs heart appeared the desire to help the wounded
baby get to its family.
The elf built a flying object to stay with the quail baby. The elf wattled a nest and tied
some sails with rope. In this way they flew over seas, oceans, cities and saw wheat fields
sprinkled with red poppy, fields full of flowers and mountains with fir-tree woods.
You could see joy and hope in the eyes of the quail baby.
They got off near a spring and they quenched their thirst, and the elf picked wheat
seeds for the baby and fruits for himself, then they continued flying, delighted by the
wonderful sights.
After a few days, they got to warm countries and they found out from the dovetails
where the babys mother was.
The elf took the baby to its family and this was a wonderful surprise. Seeing them so
happy, the elf was satisfied that he fulfilled his wish and that this was a good deed.

This story is about Bianca, a 9 years old, little girl. She lives with her parents in a nice
home, in a small town from a beautiful country with high mountains, vast plains bathed by
the waters of the sea. Bianca loved the stories told by her grandmother, especially the tales
with fairies. She thought that the fairies were magical creatures that helped people while
they were sleeping, when the people wanted to do good things but they couldnt do it by
their own.
The little girl wished so hard for the fairies to exist. One day, when she was at her
grandmothers and she was playing she decided to go to the attic and look for toys among
the old stuff. While she was looking through the things: old boxes with toys, old furniture
and all kinds of other things, she suddenly saw, in one corner, a brightly coloured carpet that
she didnt notice before. Bianca took the carpet; she put it on the floor and told it to lift up.
Unbelievable! The carpet really lifted up because it was a magic carpet that could take her
anywhere she wanted. Bianca really wanted to go to the Fairies Land. The magic carpet took
her there as fast as lightning. Bianca saw from above a wonderful country. Silver mountain
tops, forests as green as emerald, plains with perfumed flowers and enchanting lakes and
rivers.
The magic carpet left her in front of a castle that only in fairy tales she could imagine
they existed. It was wonderful! It had lots of towers and gardens full of flowers unseen
before.
Bianca went down the castles stairs. There, she was expected by many fairies, and
the most beautiful among them told Bianca:
`Welcome to our country, Bianca! We saw the magic carpet flying and we thought
that a guest is coming from far, far away. We are happy that you came and you believed in
us! `
`Thank you! I am so glad to meet you, to be here. My wish came true!`
`I am Alysia, the queen of fairies`
`You can visit our castle and country! You can come to us any time you want!`
`I am so happy that I can visit your beautiful country!`
And, that was how Biancas wish came true and now she has a lot of friends.

Since I was a child, I wished I had a house in Paris, right next to Eiffel Tower. I was
wondering How am I to get to Paris?. An idea came to my mind: <<my grandparents have a
windmill they do not use anymore, so I am going to use it>>. I decorated it as I wanted. And I
also remembered that my father had been in Paris to work with his plane.
But I needed help to make my idea work. I asked my friend, Maria, to help me and
she said:
You have such a crazy idea! How did you come up with the idea of flying with the
windmill?. I told her:
Well... you know that the helicopters have a propeller and in the same way the
windmill has this wheal that looks like a propeller!
But do you realize how much it will take to build your idea?, Maria asked me.
You know....I started building long time ago! If you are not interested I am going to
find somebody else to help me!, I answered her without taking into account her thought.
Now, I was thinking Whom shall I take in this trip? . I went to my best friend,
Carmen. She told me:
Oh, I really do not know what to say....I think that I may join you in this crazy trip.
How wonderful! Come by my house and Ill show you the place where we have to
continue our <helicopter>!, I told her excited.
Carmen was amazed by what I had done.
It took us a lot, but we managed to finish it!
We were very glad that it had worked.
My dream came true! I flew by Eiffel Tower with the windmill with my friend!

Soft snow flakes were falling slowly in the silence of the night. Nothing seemed to
trouble the beauty of Christmas Eves night.
In the warmth of the room, the Christmas tree was sparkling gently, waiting for the
presents. I was waiting for them, too! I was even more impatient than it was...But, even
though I tried to keep my eyes wide open as hard as I could, they closed slowly, slowly...In
my dream, Santa, with his white beard and sparkly blue eyes, shining of happiness, invited
me for a walk.
`Are we going by the sled, Santa?`
`No, its a surprise!`
I got out of my bed and I went away wearing only my pyjamas. In front of my home
there was the most beautiful steam train. It was red, new and anxious to pull the three
green wagons.
`Where are we going?` I asked being surprised.
`We are taking a walk!` answered Santa putting his hand on the horn. `All aboard!`
I jumped in and I sat near the window. The train flew straight through the puffy
clouds up to the blue sky that looked just as a velvet curtain with diamonds on it. The thick
clouds couldnt let me see much, but my attention was suddenly drawn by a bright, shining
star.
`Whats that?`
`Its the Christmas Star. It appears every year and I take it and place it upon the
Christmas tree form the North Pole. This year I want you to put it on the top.`
I reached for the star and I got it. Even though it was big, it wasnt heavy and it was
covered in gold.
Santa pulled the train near the biggest tree Id ever seen. Its top pierced the clouds.
After I put the star on the top of the tree, Santa patted me on the shoulder.
`Well done!`
I wanted to say something but the pat on my shoulder was so strong that it changed
into a shake. It was my mother.
`Come on, wake up, Santa came with presents!`
I ran to the Christmas tree and there was the most beautiful train in the world, with a
red engine and green wagons.

6.3. Stories about aliens
6.3.1. Alien Story
UFO sightings and alien encounters have been a part of humanity for thousands of
years and science fiction stories about aliens have been told all around the world.
This story is about how aliens abducted a computer programmer in order to take
control of the Earth.
Mike, a computer programmer, spent every day of his life alone in his tiny apartment.
He worked from home and ordered food online, almost never leaving his chair.
One night, a fire burst from nowhere forced him to leave the building. The light was
that powerful that he barely could see.
As soon as he stepped outside, he was abducted by aliens.
They took him to their aircraft where he was held captive in an exact duplicate of his
apartment in order to create programmes that would give them the power to control the
Earth.
The aliens had little knowledge of weapons, so instead they took control of the
Earths telecommunications networks in their attempt to make humanity too bored to fight
back.
Earth was left with nothing to watch and to play with.
Since that moment the humans have been communicating with each other via letters
and face to face and have no access to media, social networks, TV or radio, it's like a return
in the past.

6.3.2. An unexpected visit
May 2010. It was an ordinary evening, like the rest of the evenings in which I was
coming back home, tired, after long hours spent at school. Thoughts carried me away and
my steps were quickly getting me home.
At a given moment, the sky strongly brightened up and I had the sensation that
something looking like a spaceship landed on the roof of a tall building. Of course I thought it
was just the result of my imagination, sick of so much banality that surrounded us and,
ignoring the sensation, I continued my way home.
Later, turned out that I was not wrong, given the fact that some odd noises were
soon heard from the direction in which I had seen an object landing.
Convinced by the idea that the evening was not going to be trivial, I decided to walk
towards that place, although I was a little bit frightened.

Although I initially refused to think that the object was an UFO (unidentified flying
object), as I was getting closer to the building, I was more and more convinced that it was an
alien visit.
I cannot describe in words what I felt when I had in front of my eyes such a huge
unseen spaceship.
I did not know what to do: to run and wait for the aliens to subdue the human race or
to stay and try to find out what their plans were, though the image of a 9
th
grader did not
inspire me a lot of courage.
Before I decided what to do, I noticed how the trap of the ship opened and two little
green men with a heart-shaped head, large eyes and speaking an imperceptible language
were getting out. By the way, they were having a conversation, I could tell they were pretty
fiery and decided about what they had to do.
I have finally discovered their plan and decided to run from that place. When I got
home, my mother greeted me with the news that some little green men had appeared on
television having said that they wanted to submit the planet (deciphering the message was
possible with the help of some device created by scientists).
It seemed that the people from Earth were prepared to attack them because they
didnt have only one device to intercept their messages. Thus, before the aliens began to
destroy the Earth and kill people to populate it with their own creatures, there had been a
person who was able to unravel aliens plans.
That person was Doctor Who, an expert in aliens. It was the first time I heard about
this kind of specialist. Doctor Who suggested first to destroy the spaceship the aliens had
traveled with because their methods of attack were linked to it. The problem was they did
not know where the spaceship landed. And here my part in the story began for real. I could
not see myself as a hero, but I told my mom that I knew where that spaceship was and she
made all the necessary calls for this to be found out by Doctor Who. The spaceship was soon
found and destroyed entirely with certain weapons, which I could also not believe they
existed in our world.
It seems that you cannot be all-knowing, but you can give a helping hand when you
are able to.
Our planet was in this way saved by Doctor Who and I was awarded and publicly
congratulated because I helped at the spaceship discovery saving the planet. In addition, I
received a free week from school. What (other) nicer prize can you get when you are my
age?
I hope next time I will be able to find a solution all by myself against aliens invasion.

6.3.3. The UFO phenomena in Romania
What happened in September 23-25, 1978, not far from the cottage Balea Lake
casuistry UFO remains as one of the most terrifying III-meetings around the world, as well as
one of the rare cases in which people have been attacked by an unknown entity. The victims,
about 20 soldiers in a nearby cottage of former Balea Lake, were at the scene of the incident
to perform some construction works in the area. It all began on the night of September 23,
around midnight, when the cable car technicians in the area have been alarmed by the
appearance of a bizarre red light, spherical, which seemed to contain the whole visual field.
At the same time, the group of soldiers were at the cottage, and their leader Ioan Dorr
reported the presence of an entity, with a height estimated at about 2-2.5 feet tall, which
was about 8 metres far from the cottage. Everything lasted about 5-10 minutes, then both
the light and the entity disappeared without a trace.
The next evening, at about 9:45 p.m., sergeant Ioan Radu observed the same entity,
which appeared about 20 meters far from the cottage. Followed by two of his colleagues,
the sergeant came out to meet the 1-1.5 feet-suited creature, which was compared by later
witnesses with a cosmonaut with clunky movements who was trying to hit him. The soldiers
who were by sergeants side said later that at that time the entity made a sound similar to
that of an animal, and Ioan Radu crashed to the ground losing his conscience. A few seconds
later, the entity disappeared in the night "performing lateral jumps as if it would be floating
on top of the Earth," if we believe the two statements of the soldiers. It should be noted that
the witnesses categorically denied the presence of a bear or other wild animal.
Sergeant Ioan Radu recovered after about 10 minutes of resuscitation and did not
remember anything from the moment they had tried to attack the entity. But events did not
stop here. On the same night, the soldiers heard someone trying to open the windows and
shutters and scratching the walls and chains which they were connected with. In the
morning, soldiers noticed traces of deep scratches on the walls of the cabin at a distance of
10 cm from each other, as if a giant hand with four fingers would have tried to break the
windows and shutters. Terrified, the soldiers went to a cottage near the Waterfall Balea and
didnt return until 26 September, when they were accompanied by an armed officer. Later,
the witnesses said they had seen some traces on snow which were different than those of
the three soldiers. Their attempt to meet the entity again had no visible result.
The case was investigated by the Romanian army and many UFO-logists came to that
place for parallel investigation, but without arriving to any result concerning what had
happened that night.

6.3.4. Meeting an alien

It was a summer day. I was at home only with my mom and we decided to prepare a
delicious blueberry cupcake. Since we didnt have blueberries in the house, my mother sent
me to the forest near our house to collect some to make the cake.
In the forest, while I was walking on the path, from behind a tree an alien jumped in
front of me. I got scared and I started to scream. In that moment I observed his reaction and
I realized that he was very scared too. I came closer. He was small and shaking. I talked to
him saying my name Ana. What surprised me most was when I heard him speaking. His
name was Flopsy. He was cute, small, very fluffy and pink and he had some very sweet and
big eyes. After I calmed down, he started telling me how he got here: he was in his UFO, but
he hadnt known how to drive it, so he had pressed a wrong red button and he had been
ejected from the UFO. Now he was alone and lost on our planet. Hearing the story, I felt pity
for him and I decided to become friends. He was happy to have a friend on that strange
planet and we both agreed to disguise him through a spell into a baby because he could not
walk like this among people, with his strange appearance. Then I got home and I told my
mother what had happened in the forest and I begged her to let me bring him home. She
finally agreed. In the following days I went to school with him and nobody realized he was an
alien. At night, he slept in the yard the way he did on his planet, because every evening he
came back to its true appearance. We continued like this for a while and I even started to
care about him. But all my beautiful evenings and all the follies that we did together were
shattered on the night when the full moon, because on that night the UFO appeared and
Flopsys family came to take him back. They thanked me for taking care of him, but they said
he had to go home to his family on their planet. I was very upset because Flopsy was leaving
me, but at the same time I was very happy as Flopsy found his family.
We remained friends and from time to time he comes with his UFO right above my
house and we meet and talk and spend time together. One night I got even on his ship and
visited his planet.

6.3.5. The story of my live
Everything started with a simple curiosity
Since birth, I have grown up with a different concept of family than most people do.
Instead of growing up into my biological family, I was adopted. I have known this for as long
as I can remember because my parents made sure to tell me so, at the earliest age that I
could understand. By adopting me, my parents showed that family means love, respect and
sacrifice.
I dont know why, but I always asked myself why my biological family gave me away,
so I have started to search for them in secret. I believe that every adopted child does that,
but I didnt find anything, so I stopped looking for.

Now its summer and that means two months of summer holidays at grandpa
house. Its nice to spend time with him, hes my last grandparent alive. Each day we discuss
about different topics like love, friendship, forgiveness, success and desires and I love it. I
admired him all my life! I admire his conviction, his principles, his dignity, well, I can say -
everything.
One day my grandfather went fishing and took me with him.
It was a sunny day and everything was so beautiful!! But my grandpa was quiet and it
started to scare me a little. Anyway, after a time he spoke with me.
I know that youre searching for your biological parents and I want to tell you a story,
but if I do so, your life will change forever! There wont be a way of turning back. he
stopped. When I opened my mouth to speak he interrupted me and said: Im your real
grandfather and your real parents are dead.
And it was true: from that moment everything changed, including me. I didnt want
to listen anymore, I didnt even want to see him anymore, but he started speaking again.
I know youre upset and confused but you need to believe me Im really sorry, I
wanted to protect you. Your parents worked for NASA. Your father was a great astronaut
and your mother a great doctor. Everything started when NASA sent a team in space for
scientific experiences. After 3 years, 2 agents came to my house and told me that theyd lost
the contact with them after one impact with meteors, but I have never believed that, so I
started to investigate, but the pain turned me into an alcoholic, so I gave you in adoption
with one condition: to let me spend time with you.
Since then everything changed but I believed my grandfather and I made everything I
could to become like my father - an astronaut. I researched about that case and I
successfully managed to go on a mission with the same destination.
After 2 months and 15 days in space, we found another planet. We never thought
that it was possible to find another populated Earth, but here it was! Magical! A world of
magic with people like us called FAIRY TALE and numerous other races, including
Exceeds, dragons, celestial spirits, and giant beasts. A group of people made contact with us
telling that earth-land is divided into ten different countries: The Fiore Kingdom, Seven,
Bosco, Iceberg, Minstrel, Midi, Desierto, Joya, Bellum and the Pergrande Kingdom and they
were the leaders. One of them invited us to speak at dinner about our trip in the outer
space.
At dinner they told us that we couldnt leave their planet anymore and that wed live
like everybody else because the rest of the universe didnt ever know about their planet.
They also said that other human beings from our planet were there.
One of us tried to oppose saying that we couldnt survive there because we didnt
use magic.

In that moment one of them spoke: Magic is an ability occurring in every individual
for some races in Fairy Tale, although only 10% of Earth's population uses this magic. There
are two categories of magic: magic that allows a wizard to use magic from their bodies and
another magic that allows a user to cast magic with items. So you can survive.
I couldnt speak! All my life I believed that aliens were green ugly creatures!! But I
remembered that they had told us about other people from Earth, so I said: Tell me, tell me
about the others!!
They leave a happy life at west of Berllum! I will show you!

Once there was a small pink alien who lived in the universe of children on Kingera
planet. He was a very cute alien because his head was round like a ball and his elongated
body looked like a cartoon ghost. His name was Zimbor and he felt very lonely because he
did not have brothers or sisters and his parents had died in a war when he was as small as a
button.
Zimbor had never seen cartoons, eaten sweets, played hide-and-seek, jumped the
rope. His planet was almost abandoned because of war and smoke was all over the place.
Zimbor's only entertainment was to rummage through boxes and play with all sorts of
curious objects he found there. One day he found an automatic Tickling which still had
batteries. He laughed so much that he was in tears and a small spot of rust appeared under
the eyes. So our alien discovered that his parents had designed a curious suit which
protected and helped him survive the explosions of war.
In a store half destroyed Zimbor found a spinning machine. Some of its buttons were
melted, but our alien used a screwdriver and made the machine smoothly rotating itself. He
immediately sat in the seat, curious to see what would happen. The machine started to
throw out sparks and Zimbor spun with so much speed that it was flying like a cannonball
heading to a purple planet. The pink alien landed in a pool full of colorful balls. When he
opened his eyes he thought he was dreaming. In front of him there were mountains of
colorful animals, balls, trains and all sorts of strange machines which Zimbor had never seen
before. He walked among the piles of toys, tested scooters, roller skates and motorcycles
with batteries.
Zimbor believed that the flight was so powerful that he arrived in Paradise. In an
office waiting for him there were Zimboros and Zimboriana, his parents, who had been killed
during that war. The three hugged tightly and Zimbor learned that Paradise was actually on a

planet called Earth and that children from there had a very important job that could be done
only with toys: they played all day while their parents were using technology machines to
manufacture them in their houses. On Earth children needed toy stores so Zimbors parents
used their intelligence and built the most advanced toy store on Earth. Our alien was very
happy and he played in the new toy store all day long.
And he lived happily with his family.

6.3.7. Meeting an alien
The night was cold, a thick fog hung outside, which I could see from my window. In
the moonlight, the fog appeared like clouds descending on the earth.
How I wished I could go out and be amongst the clouds, but here I was trying to catch
some sleep. My mother had just put me to bed wishing me sweet dreams, but sleep was
miles away from me.
I was laying in bed, bored, changing TV channels and trying to find something to
entertain with.
I found the movie Man in Black, in which Will Smith combines action with comedy.
When I became too tired, I closed TV and thought about what would happen in the movie
when suddenly I saw before me a strange-looking boy, with two antennas like objects
sticking out of his head over a hairy body. His owl-like round eyes resembled the characters I
had just seen from Mars. I screamed in fright, but he said something in an alien language and
gesticulated with his hands, indicating that he meant no harm. I stared at him in disbelief,
unable even to scream.
Sensing that I was frightened, he gave me a translator to put on my ears that would
allow me to understand his language. I hesitatingly agreed and learnt that indeed he had
come from a far away planet. He wanted to take me to his friends and show me his planet. I
politely refused, telling him that I had my Maths exams the very next day (and I informed
him how much I loved it).
He talked about life on his planet, telling me that it was much bigger than our planet
Earth, having its own solar system. The creatures from there did not eat, for they survived on
noble gases that were in abundance.
Seeing that I was impressed, he continued to brag about the superiority of his race. I
got bored with it for quite some time. However, unable to take it any longer, I politely
requested him to let me sleep, for I had to wake up early to attend school.
He did not react well. Snatching the translator from my hand, he pointed his gun at
me making weird sounds. When I saw that he was reacting violently, I started screaming:
Help, Help, this boy from outer space wants to kill me!! I suddenly felt a splash of cold

water on my face. Opening my eyes I saw my mother peering down at me, Whats the
matter son? she said. How relieved I was to realise that it was all but a dream.
And this was my experience with aliens, even if it happened in my dream.

6.3.8. The aliens from the cave
An incredible story happened at the beginning of 1880, right next to the Spanish
town of Banjos. A group of locals who were returning from working the fields, found shelter
from the heavy rain in a cave nearby. To the astonishment of all, once in the cave, they
found two strange children. The story says that these children had green skin and were
much shorter than average. They spoke a strange language that no one heard. They uttered
no words, but simply drew some strange sounds. Their wild green skin was covered with a
metal suit protecting the whole body. The locals did not know what they were facing, but
they took the two little ones to their village to offer them food and shelter.
Because they were not accustomed to the food on Earth, the children did not want to
eat. The boy died a few days after he was found by villagers and the girl finally tasted the
food provided by humans and survived successfully. In just a few months the girl began to
learn speaking. Those two young aliens were from a distant world, where there was no sun
to shine over the planets. They lived in a continual twilight, therefore they were fascinated
by the extraordinary conditions on Earth. The girl-alien said that while being in their world,
the two aliens had heard a very loud noise that had driven them into a sort of tunnel and
going through the tunnel with incredible speed, they found themselves in the cave at its end.
A few years later, the girl-alien died too because it was almost impossible to adjust
herself to the living conditions from Spain 1880. The origin of the two children remained a
mystery till today, but this story will remain forever alive and hallucinating.
