Introduction

The name of the company is Google Inc. It is founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin as
a research project when they were both PhD students at Stanford University, Stanford California.
It was registered on September 15, 1997 and the company was incorporated on September 4,
1998 in Menlo Park, California.
The business is now located in Mountain View, California known as Googleplex.
However until today, there are more than 70 offices in more than 40 countries across the globe.
Google Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is located in KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur.
Googles mission is to organize the worlds information and make it universally
accessible and useful. Googles ways of achieving its mission is by providing the best search
engine and other products to keep up with the consumers demands. Google is known for their
various product line that consists of services offered online such as data searching on Google,
Gmail, Google Maps and the Nexus phone, the Google Phone.
Google is an American multinational corporation. The form of this business is
corporation and it is a public corporation since Google is listed in NASDAQ which means they
have shareholders who invests money into the business. The capital of the company is founded
by the shareholders as the stocks listed on NASDAQ bought by the shareholders. Google is led
by Larry Page who is the CEO and the co-founder of the Google, Eric Schmidt as the Executive
Chairman and Sergey Brin as the co-founder also acts as President of Technology where he
shares responsibility for the companys day-to-day operations with Larry Page and Eric Schmidt.
Products and services offered are various ranging from the services offered online to
essential item nowadays, a smart phone. Google has worked with so many other companies such
as Motorola and also Youtube. Aside from being the worlds best search engine, Google also
offered advertising services through Google AdWorks, Google AdSense and many more. Google
also known for offering communication and publishing tools as Google Hangouts, Picasa Web
Albums, Blogger and other tools. Not only that, Google also offered development tools like
Google Web Toolkit which is an open source Java software development framework that allows
web developers to create Ajax applications in Java. Others are map-related products like Google
Maps, Google Moon and Google Sky. In the operating system, Google also took place in
Android, Chrome OS and Google TV. For desktop applications, Google released products such
as Picasa, Google Earth and Google Chrome. Not forgetting, mobile web applications offering
most of the standard services offered on the computer. Google is also known for its Google
phone, under the brand Nexus which has released different versions and series of the mobile
phones.
