Camera Operator/Runner, TVS. July 2014:
I worked for TVS at the Eastbourne 999 event
promoting public services. My main role was as a
Camera Operator for the live streaming on Vimeo but I
also ran general errands and took photos for the
Twitter feed.

Video Production Assistant, Synertial.
June 2014 present:
As a VPA, I work closely with motion capture at a
commercial level. My main role is to create
informative, promotional and explanatory videos about
the software and motion capture suits that Synertial
offer for customers and the public. Responsible for
every step of the production, I film and edit videos to a
professional standard.

Runner, Good Morning Britain. May 2014:
I worked for GMB on an outside broadcast in Brighton.
Assisting the film crew and encouraging members of
the public to get involved with the shoot and spin the
wheel of cash were my main tasks, I was also
responsible for getting those involved to sign release
forms.

Shadow Reporter, BBC South West. April
2014:
Whilst shadowing BBC journalist Leigh Rundle on an
outside broadcast in Exeter, I got the chance to see
how a professional OB for news is conducted. I
offered opinions on particular shots and got members
of the public to talk on camera. I also assisted with the
edit back at the studio in Plymouth.

Media and Communications Assistant,
University of Brighton. April 2014 present:
Within my role, I promote internships and jobs to
students and graduates and the schemes on offer at
the university to employers. To do this, I use social
networking websites, meet employers and their
interns, write press releases and create video and
audio content about the employers and students or
graduates that I meet.

I worked with Maverick TV, the University of Brighton
and ASOS for one day to create a short film about a
competition run by ASOS for students. My role was to
assist with filming, keeping equipment and valuables
safe and getting release forms signed. I also worked
for the University of Brighton as a behind the scenes
reporter during the day.

Reporter, The Argus. April May 2013:
I did four days of work experience at The Argus
newsroom in Brighton. I sourced my own stories and
worked from press releases to create content for the
paper. During my experience, I learnt how to work
efficiently in a fast paced, rolling news environment.

Social Media Ambassador, University of
Brighton. May 2012 present:
My job involves using Twitter/Facebook to
communicate with prospective and current students
as well as graduates to provide them with information
about the university and promote events and job
advertisements.

Runner, Stink Productions. June 2012:
I worked as a runner on an advert for Heineken with
Stink Productions at the National Marine Aquarium in
Plymouth. My tasks over three days of filming
included helping unload and pack up kit, providing
assistance on set with lighting and running errands for
the producer and director.
