MITS is originated under the auspices of Ratakonda Ranga Reddy

Educatonal Academy under the proactve leadership of Sri N. Vijaya
Bhaskar Choudary, M.Com. (Ph.D.), Secretary and Correspondent and
Sri N. Krishna Kumar, M.S. (USA), President of the academy. MITS
enjoys constant support and patronage of NRIs with distnguished aca-
demic traditons and vast experience in Engineering and Technology.
The Management spares no efort in making the insttuton one of the
best centres of academic excellence. Madanapalle Insttute of Technol-
ogy & Science (MITS) is established in 1998 in the picturesque and
pleasant environs of Madanapalle and is ideally located on sprawling 30
acre campus on Madanapalle - Anantapur Highway (NH-205) near An-
gallu about 10 Kms from Madanapalle. The insttute approved by
AICTE, New Delhi and afliated to JNTUA, Anantapur. The campus com-
prises of aesthetcally designed buildings that of networked by WiFi
technology, modern workshops and labs, computers and internet facili-
tes, wide seminar halls, well equipped libraries and sports facilites.
ISTE chapter at MITS was established in 2011. MITS has set up its tradi-
ton in producing profcient engineers who are competent and chal-
lenged in high professional standards in this generaton. Alumni from
MITS are placed in high positons in several leading companies, organi-
zatons and many have established their own business all over the
world.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT :
The Department of Electronics & Communicaton En-
gineering, since its incepton, has been under dynamic pro-
gress and is able to establish the reputaton for impartng
quality educaton both in undergraduate and post gradu-
ate programmes. Keeping in a view of the technological
advancement, the department is fortfed by the most
qualifed and experienced faculty. It has current intake of
240 UG students, 36 PG students for the specializatons
Digital Electronics & Communicaton Systems and Micro &
Nano Electronics. The department is Accredited by NBA. It
is well equipped with modern laboratories such as Digital
Signal Processing, IC applicatons, Analog & Digital Commu-
nicaton, ECAD & Simulaton, Microprocessors & Microcon-
trollers, Microwave and Optcal Communicatons, Analog &
Digital Electronics and R & D labs. Our students pursue live
projects in various latest felds of technology like Embed-
ded Systems, VLSI, DSP, Image Processing, Robotcs etc.,
within the campus.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP :
A Natonal Level Workshop Embedded Systems is be-
ing organized by the department of ECE under TEQIP-II and
MITSECA (MITS Electronics & Communicaton Associaton)
on 18

July, 2014. This workshop is intended to pro-
vide opportunites for partcipants to gain knowledge and
experience on design and implementaton of ARM based
embedded systems and various real-tme operatng sys-
tems. It also makes the partcipants to keep abreast of the
current developments in Embedded Systems.

About ARM & RTOS :
ARM is a 32 bit RISC processor family and is an up-
ward compatble range of energy efcient, low cost, beter
code density and easy to use processor designed to help
the developers in order to meet the needs of tomorrows
embedded applicatons. ARM supports wide variety of re-
al-tme operatng systems for efcient task scheduling.
WinCE, RTLinux, Embedded Linux, C/OS-II, Nutno, QNX,
Vxworks etc are the real-tme operatng systems supported
by ARM.

Mr. Rajesh Manikantan
He is Corporate relatons head from SEMICHIP solu-
tons. He has worked for companies like Robert Bosch, IBM
etc. He has conducted several training workshops, courses
for corporate training.

Mr. T Venkata Narayana
He is currently working as Technical Lead at Aricent
Group, Chennai. He is an expert in MPLS-TP and has hands
on experience in microcode. He has more than 9 years of
experience in sofware development & testng of telecom
and embedded systems.

Madanapalle Insttute of Technology and Science
(MITS) is located at Angallu, which is 10 kms away from
Madanapalle. Madanapalle is 120 kms from Tirupat, 125
kms from Bengaluru, 250 kms from Chennai & 170 kms
from Anantapur.
