Lets Go

is a seven-level communicative course intended for elementary school

students studying English for the first time.

This Lets Go Syllabus is designed to help teachers with lesson planning and determining the schedule
over a semester. Furthermore, administrators can use this in planning a curriculum and setting up a
comprehensive language program.
The amount of time allotted to each component of instruction will be dictated by the teachers own
style and objectives. However, a general guideline is offered for both 45-minute and a 60-minute classes.
For classes shorter than 60-minute, plan on covering one unit every two classes.
The schedule below emphasizes the communicative aspects of learning. As a result, much of the class
time will be spent in presenting the language and doing extension activities.
