10 Design a Poster (review)

Your task is to design a poster. It can be for a concert, a sporting event, a party, etc.
Be sure to include the following.
3 different fonts Arial, Calibri, Berlin Sans, etc
2 different font sizes 12 20, etc
A BOLD title
Title should be centered on the Home tab, find Paragraph, and choose center
Title in center
Time and date in italics
Include the location of the event
Cost to enter or to attend
One item should be right justified - in the Home tab, find Paragraph, and choose right
Right Justified
One item should be left justified - in the Home tab, find Paragraph, and choose left
Left justified



11 - Creating a List
Put cursor in desired location - On the Home Tab in the Paragraph Section Choose Bullets,
click the arrow for a variety of styles
Create a bulleted list of your 5 favorite musicians or favorite sporting teams.


Create a bulleted list of your top 5 TV shows or books, using a different bullet style from the above list by
clicking on the arrow beside the bullets.


Create a numbered list of places youd like to visit, with number 1 being your top choice and 5 your least likely
place to visit. To Number automatically Home Tab Paragraph Section click on 1 2 3



12 Insert Shapes
Design a picture by inserting a variety of shapes, use a variety of colors, fill and border styles.

Click on the Insert Tab
Click on SHAPES & its arrow
Find a Shape(s) and place in document below place mouse
where you want the shape, hold finger down and drag the shape to
the size you desire.
Shape should have dots around it in the DRAWING TOOLS TAB then
click in SHAPE STYLES to change the SHAPE FILL, outline and effects
Experiment and draw a picture




13 Insert a Clip Art
Click on INSERT TAB at the top
Click on CLIP ART
Click below all these directions
In the search box to the right, type dog
Choose a picture and click - it will automatically insert wherever your cursor was on this page
The picture should have circles around it, if not click on the picture.
Click on the PICTURE TOOLS TAB at the top
Click on WRAP TEXT and experiment with the various positions to put your picture by dragging picture

Click on INSERT Tab
Click on PICTURE
A window opens of pictures
Click on a picture of your choice
Click on INSERT the picture will be inserted here.

4. Right -Click on the picture you want to copy
5. Click on copy

My father is 75 years old, with graying hair. He works as a carpenter for the Great Plains Woodshop in
Lincoln, Nebraska. My father drives an old beat up Ford pick-up truck, with 158,000 miles on it. That old Ford
truck has traveled many miles from Omaha to Denver every year.
My father met my mother at a roller skating rink where they skated the night away. After one year of
dating they became engaged and married. The wedding was small at their church. Family and friends
attended the ceremony, and then ate cake and ice cream at the reception.
My father played baseball with me in the backyard. I remember hitting the ball through the kitchen
the window.
My father bought me my first Ford mustang when I was 18. I drove that car everywhere. No my father
is helping me restore the car.
