Welcome to the official podcast of the World Clan League with your host, Bli33ard. This
podcast is hosted by Total Play Studios.

Season 2, Week 1. Hello there, and welcome to the inaugural episode of the World Clan
League podcast. Now, I’m sure many of you are wondering what this is, who I am and what
am I going to talk about. I’ll start from the top. The WCL Podcast is all about covering the
latest news, results & controversy from the World Clan League. This is the definitive
essential to all of those participating in the WCL, racer and organiser alike. Now, that’s
covered, now finally to introduce myself.

My name is Bli33ard (with the 3’s instead of the z’s) and I’m from London, England, and I’ve
been involved in gaming pretty much all of my life. It’s a great passion of mine and I’ve
always combined them with some kind of media like radio shows, podcasting, forums etc,
and I’ve even got my own site which is hosting this podcast, so I’ve been around, heh. So
that’s me introduced, now to show you what you can look forward to in this episode.

Headlines

- Tag/Name Violations
Just a reminder that ALL players in a team MUST have identical tags, otherwise they will
incur a 10 point penalty for their team. (Rule 10a)
Another reminder that players’ points will not be counted for their team if they play under a
different name which was registered at the beginning of the season.
- Infinity withdrawing
Infinity have withdrawn from Division 3 (also known as the Feather division) after a series of
multiple disconnections. Infinity have withdrawn at such an early stage in such a good
position, with plenty of time to make up for their defeat. The 2 gp's that they played were
counted as the final result (since Infinity didn't want to continue) and they lost by less than
20 points = 1 league point. Infinity also expressed their disappointment that their division
admin was unsupportive during the incident (didn't respond on MSN). The moral of the story
is that if you have multiple dc's then don't expect the host to dc and restart the room
because they're not obliged to, you get 15 pts per player and the host will be banned from
hosting should there be further problems. A team from D4 will now be invited to replace in*
and teams from D5/6 etc will move up allocating a spot.

7 Shell League
Mushroom Team 2 228 – 0 Talladega Knights Clan
Super controversy about result – initially TKC lost all of their points because they did not register. Division
leader Dark563 ruled that because of the ‘first WCL match grace period’, the actual score stood at the time,
with Mushroom Team 2 winning. However, TKC suffered a -50 point deficit for incorrect tags, -10 for each
player. Just another reminder to keep in check with the rules. After Dark563 saw the video evidence, then the
decision was reverted back to the original scoring of 228 – 0. The decision was final. All of TKC’s points have
been nullified including the -50 tag penalty. MT2 also got a penalty for Jose’s faulty tag.

NWFC2 had a guest racer in Lynch courtesy of NoHax, and caused a rift between the two teams. Only two GPs
were played, one more is to be raced again. No sign of result yet, but result still stands.

Only two GPs were counted due to severe disconnection.

The Scrubs’ top scorer Deidara lost 62 points due to name infringement.
Eliminator Resolve 200 – 0 Velocity Shock
Only one member from Velocity Shock showed, KFC. First forfeit of Season 2.
