Role of Master Teachers

Student Development:

Conduct Demonstration Teaching one for the Dept. & one for the year level
Introduce varied and innovative teaching strategies
Manage and supervise student and community activities
Prepare Test questions every grading period w/ table of specification
Submit item analysis and Raw Scores of assigned year level
Provide intervention & improve student achievement in NAT & NCAE

Staff Development:

Check Lesson Plans/Practice mentoring of Key Teachers
Serve as partner or extension of Dept. Head in implementing Sch. Programs & Proj.
Serve as role model of students and Key teachers, Practice Project Watch
Professional Growth, Attend seminars and trainings
Enroll Graduate Studies Masteral /Doctoral Courses
Join Study Tours

Curriculum Development:

Subscribe & read Professional books, magazines & other Professional update materials
Be oriented on Educational Technologies
Assist Department Heads as well as Administration, preparation of class programs & schedule of teachers
Participate in the revision of the curricular programs as requested by the Department.
Provide workbook, modules or articles related to education
Design indigenous or locally made instructional materials

Research Development:

Make some innovation for student and teachers
Prepare case studies for slow learners and student tardiness etc.
Conduct school based action research and in your assigned Department.

Community Extension:

Participate in Community Activities, Programs, Projects Etc.
Conduct Community Project such as Feeding, Clean & Green, Farming etc.
Conduct Income Generating Project ( IGP )

Linkages:

Help solicit funds for the realization of school activities
Solicit from donors for the benefits of the students & Community.
