Gauge: Gauge is not important in this design as long as hook used produces a tight
fabric.

Directions
Body:
Rnd 1: With white, ch 2, make 6 sc in the 2
nd
ch from the hook. (6 sc) Join rnd with a sl
st.
Rnds 2-3: Ch 1, sc around. (6 sc) Join.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, [sc, sc inc] around. (9 sc) Join.
Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc around. (9 sc) Join.
Rnd 6: Ch 1, [sc inc, sc 2] around. (12 sc) Join.
Rnd 7: Ch 1, sc around. (12 sc) Join.
Rnd 8: Ch 1, [sc 2, sc inc] around. (16 sc) Join.
Rnds 9-11: Ch 1, sc around. (16 sc) Join.
Rnd 12: Ch 1, sc 4, [sc dec] 4 times, sc 4. (12 sc) Join.

Wings: (make 2)
Do not join rnds.
Rnd 1: With white, ch 2, make 10 sc in the 2

ch from the hook. (10 sc)
Rnds 2-5: Sc around.
To finish, sl st in next st and finish off, leaving a tail of yarn 10-12 inches long for
assembly.

Tail Fins: (make 3)
Do not join rnds.
Rnd 1: With white, ch 2, make 6 sc in the 2
nd
ch from the hook. (6 sc)
Rnds 2-3: Sc around.
To finish, sl st in next st and finish off, leaving a tail of yarn about 6 inches long for
assembly.

Assembly and Finishing:
1) Sew one tail fin to the top and one tail
fin to each side of the small end of the
body (see picture).
2) Flatten wing, and (threading tail onto
needle) make a few stitches to keep
flat.
3) Sew wing to side of plane.
4) Repeat steps 2 and 3 with other wing.
5) With a single strand of light blue yarn,
embroider windows as shown. If you
hate sewing on details in yarn, you might try sewing (or gluing) on felt pieces, or
using fabric paint.
