Central A&M High School will be raffling off baskets made by
school groups to support our Real Men Wear Pink campaign.
This year our band is looking to create several baskets. Raffle
tickets will be sold at home sporting and school events from
September 14 thru half time of the home football game against
Maroa-Forsyth High School on October 12. Any support you
can give will be appreciated.

The Real Men Wear Pink campaign is sponsored through St.
Marys Hospital and Millikin University. Real Men Wear Pink is
St. Marys Breast Cancer Awareness Month effort to
encourage women to get yearly mammograms if they are 40
years of age or older. This is the 5th Annual St. Marys Real
Men Wear Pink campaign. This year, an estimated 178,480
women will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer and an
estimated 40,460 will die from the disease. In addition, about
2,030 men will also be diagnosed with breast cancer. Breast
cancer is the most frequently diagnosed non-skin cancer in
women, and the second leading cause of cancer death (after
lung cancer).

The Central A&M Band is excited about creating baskets for the
3rd annual Real Men Wear Pink Campaign. We thank you for
your consideration in supporting our efforts in raising funds for
this great cause
