ARRANGEMENT OF CONTENTS OF PROJECT:

The sequence in which the project material should be arranged and bound should
be as follows:
1. Cover Page & Title Page
2. Certificate
. !bstract
". !c#nowledgement
$. Table of Contents
%. &ist of tables
'. &ist of (igures
). &ist of *+mbols, !bbreviations and -omenclature

The Tables and figures shall be introduced in the appropriate places.
PAGE DIMENSIONS AND MARGIN:
The dimensions of the final bound 2 copies report should be 2./mm 1
2/$mm. *tandard !" si2e 32.'mm 1 21/mm4 paper ma+ be used for preparing
the copies.
The Project 3at the time of submission4 should have the following page margins:
Top edge : / to $ mm
5ottom edge : 2$ to /mm
&eft side : $ to "/mm
0ight side : 2/ to 2$ mm
The project should be prepared on good qualit+ white paper preferabl+ no lower
than )/gsm.
Tables and figures should be prepared on good qualit+ paper preferabl+
not lower than )/ gsm.
Tables and figures should conform to the margin specifications. &arge si2e
figures should be photographicall+ or otherwise reduced to the appropriate si2e
before insertion.
MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION :
The student shall suppl+ a t+ped cop+ of the manuscript to the guide for
her purpose of approval. 6n the preparation of the manuscript, care should be
ta#en to ensure that all te1tual matter is t+pewritten to the e1tent possible in the
same format as ma+ be required for the final project.
7ence some of the in formation required for the final t+ping of the project
is included also in this section.
The headings of all items 2 to 12 listed in section " should be t+ped in
capital letter without punctuation and centered $/mm below the top of the page.
The te1t should commence " spaces below this heading. The page numbering for
all items 1 to ) should be done using lower case 0oman numerals and the pages
thereafter should be numbered using !rabic numerals.

6.% Cer#i&i'#e$ The 5onafide Certificate shall be in double line spacing using
(ont *t+le Times -ew 0oman (ont *i2e 1".
The certificate shall carr+ the supervisor8s signature ands shall be followed
b+ the supervisor8s name, academic designation.
6.( A)s#r'#$ !bstract should be an essa+ t+pe of narration not e1ceeding four pages
outlining the research problem, the methodolog+ used fro tac#ing it an a summar+
of the findings, when t+ped double line spacing, font *t+le Times -ew 0oman
and (ont *i2e 1".
6.* A'+no,led!e-en#$ The !c#nowledgement shall be brief and should not e1ceed
one page when t+ped in double spacing. The student8s signature shall be made at
the bottom end above his.9 her name t+ped in capitals.
6.. T)le o& 'on#en#s$ The table of contents should list all material following it as
well as na+ material which precedes it. The title page, Certificate and
!c#nowledgement will not find a place among the items listed in the Table of
Contents but the page numbers in lower case 0oman letters are to be accounted
for them. :ne and a half spacing should be adopted fro t+ping the manner under
this specimen cop+ of the Table Contents for project is given in !nne1ure 666.
6.6 /is# o& T)le$ The list should use e1actl+ the same captions as the+ appear above
the tables in the te1t. :ne and a half spacing should be adopted for t+ping the
matter under this head.
