AKTIVITI :
Another day of internship goes very well at Echo Broadband. I started to familiarize
myself with all the work process in the company. Every completed works brings my
confident up to another level.

The day started off with the SME explaining the task of the day to us. Today, we need to
continue the previous work process of Run Tools of the zipcode 10530 Hartsdale,
Westchester.


In the previous days of working on the same zipcode, we have finished half of nodes in
this zipcode which is 10 of them are completed with no error at all. Today, another 11
nodes awaits for us to check the amplifier specification and correct them according to the
latest specification.

Zipcode 10530 Hartsdale contain nodes such as 40B007, 40B003 and 40B006. Each
nodes have a very different distances that covers every devices in the network around the
area. For longer nodes, longer times will be needed to finished the Run Tools work
process while for the shorter nodes, less time will be needed to completely change the
specification of the amplifier.


We have been briefed before about the specification changes in the previous discussion.
A new situation emerge. For example, if the amplifier is marked T, the amp section on
the design assistant must be marked with 11 while if it was amplifier marked with A, it
must be marked with 22 in the amp section.

In the previous specification, the T amplifier was marked 21 while the A amplifier
was marked 22.

If this occur, the data in Design Assistant software will be marked red instead of the
correct one which is green. Also, if the data is in red colour, the signal at the end of the
lode data in Design Assistant will also marked red which will caused problem for the
client if the signal is low or in negative state.

Along the work process, I bumped into some difficulties involving the mark red didnt
disappear even if the specification of the devices are correct.


In order to overcome this, the data must be unlocked before any changes can be made.
Upon unlocking the data using the Design Assistant Software, changes of data can be
made and the signal marked red turned green indicating a correct signal produced.

Upon completing the 10530 Hartsdale zipcode, a new zipcode was assigned to us which
is 10604 Harrison, Westchester. This zipcode covers even a bigger amount of nodes
which is 25.


Both zipcodes comes with the same problem thus increased my efficiency and
understanding towards the different type of amplifier and their specification.

By the end of the day, both zipcodes successfully checked and the error was fixed,
producing a steady signal for the client to look forward to.








KESIMPULAN :

Every error that I faced during the work process of recheck reminds me to be careful of
every work that Ill be doing in the next stage.

A slight changes of specification can affect the whole work process.


As days goes by, my skill levels and way I look at the work process was different,
compared to what I see during my first and second week here at Echo Broadband.
