Proverbs 22:19
So that your trust may be in the
Lord, I teach you today, even you.
Let us fully trust the Lord to cast our burdens unto Him. We do
not have to carry it ourselves in this world. He is ready to relieve
us from our sadness, our sorrows, our sicknesses. We have a God
who can do it for us. When we depend on him in faith, He shall
lead us.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Shalom in the Name of Jesus Our Lord and Saviour. Once again I thank God for this
opportunity to reach you through this news letter.

Philippians 2 -9-11 states as follows:- Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and
given him a name which is above every name; That at the name of Jesus every knee
should bow in heaven and earth and under the earth; And that every tongue must confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Bible records over 200 names of God that are used to relate to His nature, character and
how He works. Jesus was given the name Immanuel because his name meant his mission
i.e. God be with us. He came down to earth to be with us and display his saving grace. He
not only walked the earth but left us His Holy Spirit to be with us. Therefore He is with us all
the time.

The entire universe displays His glory. Everywhere we see we can see His handy work.
Sometimes when we are in difficult circumstances we raise the question God Where are
you. As Christians we need to know and be encouraged that even in such situations where
we find difficulty in having a breakthrough that the almighty God is working on our behalf
and that He is with us!

Jesus clearly tells us in John 14 that He will neither leave us nor forsake us but be with us
always. What other assurance do we need other than this promise Jesus has made to us?

Today He is in the midst of us by His Holy Spirit.

Today He is with us as JEHOVAH ELOHIM- THE GOD WHO IS WITH US.
Today HE is with us as JEHOVAH EL ROI - THE GOD WHO SEES.
Today HE is with us as JEHOVAH JAIRAH- THE GOD WHO PROVIDES.
Today HE is with us as JEHOVAH RAPHA- THE GOD OUR HELPER.

No matter what happens in your life take comfort in the fact that he is with you all the days
of your life.

Blessings

Pastor Srikanthan

During these serious and troubled times, people of all faiths should remember these
four great religious truths:
1. Muslims do not recognize Jews as God's Chosen People.
2. Jews do not recognize Jesus as the Messiah.
3. Protestants do not recognize the Pope as the leader of the Christian world.
4. Christians do not recognize each other at the liquor store.

GOOD SAMARITAN
A Sunday school teacher was telling her class the story of the Good Samaritan.
She asked the class, "If you saw a person lying on the roadside, all wounded and
Bleeding, what would you do?"
A thoughtful little girl broke the hushed silence, "I think I'd throw up."

DID NOAH FISH?
A Sunday school teacher asked, "Johnny, do you think Noah did a lot of fishing when
he was on the Ark ?"
"No," replied Johnny. "How could he, with just two worms.

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD
A Sunday School teacher decided to have her young class memorize one of the most
Quoted passages in the Bible - Psalm 23. She gave the youngsters a month to learn
the chapter.
Little Rick was excited about the task - but he just couldn't remember the Psalm. After
much practice, he could barely get past the first line.
On the day that the kids were scheduled to recite Psalm 23 in front of the
congregation, Ricky was so nervous. When it was his turn, he stepped up to the
microphone and said proudly, "The Lord is my Shepherd, and that's all I need to
know. Page 7
