An audio engineer is someone with experience and training in the production and manipulation of sound through mechanical or digital means. This 10-day program includes recording and mixing techniques, fundamentals of system design, acoustical factors in system interaction as well as techniques to automate Live Sound. 1 A Certicate Program in Recording Arts Any higher secondary (10+2) graduate, passionate about audio and looking to explore and develop his/her creative and technical skills, is eligible. This intensive program could be pursued as a 12 month full time, 18 month part time, or a 24 month weekend program. You begin with learning the basics of sound, electronics, rigging, and safety. You then move on to understanding speakers and ampliers, the software (ProTools), miking techniques, and digital signal processing.
