elds and factories, Audio Academy is a breath of
fresh air.
With over 10,000 sq.ft. of campus area, Audio
Academy boasts of an in-campus LIVE GIG AREA
and a state of the art studio. The Studio equipment
includes a Pro Tools HD System, iMacs, Digital
Control Surfaces, and Studio Monitors. The Live
setup includes, Meyer Sound Tops & Subs, AVID
Venue SC-48, SMART Real-time Analyzers, and a
DSP-based Loudspeaker Management System.
Who is an audio engineer?
An audio engineer is someone with experience
and training in the production and manipulation
of sound through mechanical or digital means.
An audio engineer uses equipment to record,
synchronize, mix or reproduce music, voices, or
sound effects. He or she can work in the movie,
music (live & studio), theater or gaming industries.
Audio Engineering combines the creative and
procedural aspects of music and sound.
What do you learn?

Niranjan is a
freelance
audio expert
with over a
decades experience
in the industry. He is an
accomplished and well-known audio engineer.
Having trained with Meyer Sound, he has worked
with Jethro Tull, Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, and
Metallica to name a few. Apart from mixing and
mastering music for a whole lot of local bands,
Niranjan also travels with bands like Swarathma,

what dreams are made of. And for individuals
passionate about sound, the incentive just gets

Rahul Samuel
With a Diploma in Sound Engineering, Rahul Samuel
began his career with Acoustic Control. He moved
on to working with the likes of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy,
Kailash Kher (Kailasa),Gerard Machado & Band,
Eliana Burki (Switzerland) & Agog (Amsterdam). He
has been instrumental in the design and setup of
various audio systems across the country.

2 Mixing & System Design
This program is for individuals from the audio
industry who would like to brush up on the basics
of audio and get up to speed with the latest in
the business.
This 10-day program includes recording and
mixing techniques, fundamentals of system
design, acoustical factors in system interaction as
well as techniques to automate Live Sound.
1 A Certicate Program in Recording Arts
Any higher secondary (10+2) graduate,
passionate about audio and looking to explore
and develop his/her creative and technical skills,
is eligible.
This intensive program could be pursued as a
12 month full time, 18 month part time, or a
24 month weekend program. You begin with
learning the basics of sound, electronics, rigging,
and safety. You then move on to understanding
speakers and ampliers, the software (ProTools),
miking techniques, and digital signal processing.
By this time you will be procient in recording
and mixing in a studio as well as a live show.
You will also be trained on acoustics and system
design. To complete the course it is mandatory
that you take up the highly acclaimed Avid Pro
Tools or Avid Venue Certication Examination.
Graduating students would be easily absorbed by
the industry rewarding them with lucrative and
fullling careers. They could work with reputed
bands, music companies and studios.
3 DIY course for musicians
This program is for musicians who want to learn to
program, record, mix, and master their own music.
This 4-day weekend program includes basic
acoustics, miking techniques, selecting studio
monitors, programming and MIDI. The program will
also touch upon uses of FX, optimizing levels for
mixes, mixing techniques and nalizing projects.
4 Audio basics for everybody
Any person curious about technology powering the
audio industry will benet from this program.
This 4-day weekend program will familiarize you
with technical jargon, the equipment used in the
industry, techniques used to record voices and
basics of digital audio work stations.
5 DJ Course
Immerse yourself in the complete Art of DJing!
Beat matching, mixing, programming sets... youll
learn it all in this 4-day weekend course.
Whether youre a beginner or a pro, our
