PT InterMatrix Bina Indonesia was founded in 1986 as a management consulting firm by Wimar

The GolinHarris team in Indonesia advocated for Ayam ASUH on the consumption of good quality
chicken and chicken products, emphasizing to customers the issues of safety, health, being whole and
Halal. Educating the public had been quite a challenge. Therefore, GH chose to highlight the
importance of restructuring the poultry market in Jakarta and improving sanitation to eradicate
diseases.
GH worked with key stakeholders from the Jakarta Poultry Committee to raise awareness and
familiarize media with the issues through a series of roundtable discussions. GH also pitched opinion
editorials to prominent national print publications, facilitated media visits to one of the five
government-supported, restructured poultry production houses and hosted other media relations
activities. Participating outlets gained in-depth knowledge on the subject of poultry health and
sanitation, and the campaign received significant coverage. Additionally, hundreds of women from
the Family Welfare Movement (PKK Jakarta) received support from the Ayam ASUH program. As a
result, they now understand the significance of sanitation and realize the importance in choosing the
right quality of chicken.
In addition, GH staff supported the program by participating in Ayam ASUH activities in their
communities. Overall, GH promoted the Ayam ASUH program through generating awareness of food
safety and healthy lifestyle choices. Consumers and poultry sellers have been enlightened and
continue to provide and purchase chicken products in a safe environment with the support of local
government and related stakeholders.
