Separator from CPB: a success story of pioneers
At Christian Pfeiffer Beckum, we developed the first dynamic separator for the European cement industry. It was the
beginning of a success story. The 3rd generation is now already on the market. Our dynamic separator/classifiers
achieve degrees of fineness from 1 to 200 m at d98.

The OptiTromp-family consists of 6 dynamic separators with a rotating cage. For the standard design, cyclones with
circulating air fans are used for finished product recovery. If the separator has to cool the grinding material, a filter
system is used instead of cyclones.

TFS stands for Twin Feed Separator, a separator with two feeding locations: the first one is the air stream from bottom
