RRU3004 Description
Introduction
The RRU3004 is a Remote Radio Unit (RRU) based on the dual density technology. It
supports distributed or tower-mounting installation, and is usually used in scenarios requiring
medium or small capacity.
The RRU3004 supports AC and DC power input modes and performs modulation,
demodulation, data processing, and combining and dividing for baseband signals and Radio
Frequency (RF) signals.
1.1 Appearance
Figure a.1 shows the appearance of the RRU3004.

An RRU is connected to a BBU through the Common Public Radio Interface (CPRI)
fiber, which allows the distributed installation of RRUs.

Figure a.6 and Figure a.7 lists the typical power consumption and the maximum power
consumption when the base station works at a temperature of 25C.
The typical power consumption is measured with a 30% load and power control and DTX are
enabled. The maximum power consumption is reached when the base station works with 100% load.
TOC refers to the output power at the duplex port on the BTS.
The power consumption listed in this section refers to the power consumption of DBS3900s with -48
V DC.
