Course Information and Syllabus in English 3
Descriptive Title: Speech and Oral Communication
Credit Units: 3 units
Pre-Requisite: English 2
Course Description:
Speech and oral communication is a three-unit course that will put more emphasis on the practical application of the knowledge and

hone students oral communication skills.
Course Objectives: At the end of the course, the students are expected to:
1. further hone their speaking skills through actual exposure to oral deliveries/performances;
2. enhance further the development of good speech habits;
3. develop self-confidence in speaking before an audience;
4. develop proficiency on the production of the vowel and consonant sounds;
5. convey ideas effectively, proficiently, spontaneously, impressively, and expressively verbally and non-verbally.
