(2) Hotel seen 3) Tour guide or anything interesting seen on the way
Buy one good storybook during vacation, any language you would love to read and enjoy. You can enjoy
reading the stories of your English /Hindi text books also. We will share the stories in the class, when the
school reopens.
You enjoy all the delicacies prepared by your mother. Learn from your mother the recipe of any one dish
which you like most. Write down this recipe in detail. We will discuss this in the class when the school
reopens. Visit the school website and ask your mother to try the recipes given in the Cookery Corner. We
will discuss in the class which one you and your class mates liked the most.
We all strive to have a good vocabulary. Now when you have vacation, you have ample time for reading.

cm), design it, decorate it and leave it blank. We will write the matter inside it, in the school when it reopens.
Visit the site http://arvindguptatoys.com/toys.html There are many fun experiments/activities in varied areas.
With the help of your parents, try out whatever fascinates you. Enjoy each day of your vacation.
Let us do this Fun activity. Assemble the following : Pan, Water, Stove, Sugar, Spoon, String, Pencil, Glass,
Scissors and Button.
Step 1: Bring a small pan of water to a boil on the stove, and turn
off the heat.
Step 2: Add one tablespoon of sugar, and stir until it dissolves.
Step 3: Continue adding sugar, one tablespoon at a time, letting
each tablespoonful dissolve completely before adding the next.
When no more sugar will dissolve in the water, allow the saturated
solution to cool.
Step 4: Tie a string to the middle of a pencil, and set the pencil
across the rim of a glass. Cut the string so that it just touches the
bottom of the glass. Tie a button onto the bottom of the string.
Step 5: Pour the cooled sugar water into the glass. Rest the pencil
across the rim of the glass so that the string and button are in the solution.
Step 6: Allow the glass to sit in a warm place without being disturbed for several days so that the water
evaporates.
Step 7: Note down your observations. We will discuss the observations of all your classmates, when the
school reopens.
