Led operations of three divisions encompassing wholesale distribution of appliances, cabinets, counter
tops, fireplaces and closet shelving products to builders, remodelers and property managers; kitchen
remodeling sales to homeowners; and a fourth division selling wholesale wireless devices and
accessories serving Verizon Wireless dealers in the Pacific Northwest as a Master Agent.
Directed all company divisions from the corporate office located in Clackamas, Oregon, including two
additional showrooms in Bend, and Medford, Oregon. Operations supported by 50+ employees
including remote sales representatives in Spokane and Olympia, Washington and Albany, Oregon.
Directly involved in all vendor relationships, marketing decisions, pricing, inventory control, and sales
functions for each division. Personally managed relationship with Teamsters-staffed warehouse, drivers
and installation crews.
Accomplishments include:
Instituted new cost analysis program to determine areas negatively impacting profitability. As
newly-appointed CEO, focused on growth of Remodel Business segment and restructuring of Builder
Sales Team. Implemented new policies to improve efficiencies, reduce costs and increase profitability.
Increased Remodel sales staff to accommodate projected 40% sales increase.
Revised purchasing parameters to better control inventory turns and product obsolescence.
Implemented procedures to enhance customer experience and satisfaction. Remodel program
revitalized to accentuate positive customer experience at all levels. New advertising campaign increased
traffic flow and customer appointments by 35%.
General Manager Wireless Division: 9/1997 12/2012
Directed sales, marketing and distribution teams to acquire and service over 200 points of distribution in
Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Contributions in strategic planning to drive customer growth, increase
revenues and cultivate improved customer satisfaction. Directly involved in marketing, pricing, sales
functions and carrier relationships and contract negotiations. Created and negotiated all Verizon dealer
contracts with distribution partners. Direct P&L responsibility for the division.

Among my accomplishments:
Successfully negotiated the first non-exclusive agreement with AirTouch Cellular (Verizon
Wireless). Allowed for the sale of competing wireless carriers through more than 100 of the existing
AirTouch independent dealer stores. Increased division revenue 60% through the addition of wireless
carriers Nextel, VoiceStream (T-Mobile), AT & T, and Cricket Wireless.
Managed fulfillment of all Nextel handsets in Oregon and Washington for all Nextel direct and
indirect sales entities. Increased fulfillment revenue to division by over 50%.

OneComm (Sprint-Nextel) 9/1994 8/1997
Manager Indirect Distribution. Participated in the launch of the new OneComm digital wireless service
in Oregon and SW Washington. Negotiated dealer contracts throughout Oregon and SW Washington to
represent the OneComm brand. Managed and maintained all facets of relationship with indirect
distribution channel.
Leveraged Direct sales team knowledge and product expertise with Indirect Dealer customer
relationships to capture initial sales. Legacy Indirect Dealers owned strong relationships with initial
target customers. Direct sales team had superior product knowledge. Joint sales calls resulted in
accelerated initial sales due to combined product knowledge and customer relationships.
Negotiated contract with local wholesale distributor to act as product fulfillment center for all
Nextel handset sales in Oregon and Washington. Company needed regional fulfillment center to
assemble and ship handset kits to customers for all sales acquired by direct and indirect distribution.
Secured Indirect Distribution contract with Pacific Northwests largest and highly successful
wireless master agent. Needing additional sources of distribution, initiated talks that ultimately added
40+ wireless dealers to enhance the sales of Nextel products in the Pacific Northwest.
