motivated and energetic professional in our Bangladesh team for the position of Country Head of
Compliance, Damco Bangladesh.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will evolve over time, along with Damcos development as well as changes to our
industry and changes to the legal environment. The main responsibilities are:
Responsible for compliance activities in the country
Collaborate with the Regional Head of Compliance and the other Damco compliance coordinators.
Accurately respond to information requests from the Regional Head of Compliance.
Keep him/herself updated about developments in the legal- and professional environment
Anticipate how changes in regulatory requirements may affect the operations of Damco
Assess the most important compliance risks and implement relevant risk mitigating actions
Implement the global and regional compliance program in the country and develop and implement the
local compliance program
Implement and further develop the compliance training program
Communicate the compliance program
Conduct due diligence on Third Parties/Subcontractors
Provide advice to employees with compliance questions
Monitor implementation of the compliance program and report progress to management and the
Regional Head of Compliance
Who we are looking for: The ideal candidate:
Has an understanding of all relevant laws, such as anti-corruption, competition compliance and export
control which regulate the logistics industry.
Has worked in the region, preferably has experience with doing business in new and emerging
markets.
Has experience in the logistics industry; this is not a must, but is a strong benefit.
Has experience in providing compliance training
Is disciplined, structured and able to strike a sound balance between analysis and action.
Has strong interpersonal communication skills
Has 1-3 years of relevant compliance experience.
Is fluent in written and spoken English.
