practice the rst model before going on to the
second. For each model:
1. Have students look at the model illustration.
Set the scene:
Model 1: A wife is calling her husband.
Model 2: A husband and wife are talking.
2. Present the model.
3. Choral Repetition Practice: Full-Class and
Individual.
4. Have pairs practice the model.
5. Have pairs present the model.
6. Call on pairs to present a new conversation
