Instructions for Candidates of Business Studies and Social Sciences (Economics, Mass
Communication, Public Administration)
The Entrance Test will comprise the following subjects:
a. Verbal (English) b. Quanttatve ( Gen Maths) C. Intelligence Test
These instructons deal with multple choice answer sheets, which will be provided for examinaton. The answer sheets will
have two parts, i.e., personal informaton and answers. A flled in answer sheet is printed on the next page for illustraton and
guidance. Answer sheets are marked through computer, therefore, it is important that the candidates read and understand these
instructons thoroughly before taking the exam. Non-compliance will afect scoring adversely.
PERSONAL INFORMATION (See appropriate block in the specimen answer sheet). Exam superintendent will brief on flling in of
this porton before start of the exam.
Clearly write your name in Capital Leters in the box ttled FULL NAME. Fill corresponding circles. If the name is longer than
the space provided, fll in as much as fts in the given space. (In the specimen answer sheet, Babar Ajmal is the name of a
candidate).
Write your Roll No in the box ttled ROLL No. (In the specimen answer sheet, the Roll No of the candidate is 753357).
In the SUbjECT column, use 555 as subject code for Business Studies and Social Sciences.
In the NET COdE column, write NET Code writen inside the queston booklet. (NET Code 002 is marked In the specimen
answer sheet)
In the CITY/CENTRE column, use the following codes and fll in the corresponding circles. (In the specimen sheet, KI is
marked for Karachi).

MARKING Of ANSWER SHEET
In the specimen answer sheet, frst 16 questons have been atempted. See the specimen sheet and the following instructons:
Mark your choice with 2b lead pencil by flling in the appropriate circle completely, making it a dark black circle as shown
below.


Some examples of improper marking are shown below:


(The computer will mark improperly flled circle as wrong answer)
Do not mark more than a single circle for an answer choice. Multple answers for a single queston will be regarded as an
unanswered queston.
If you need to erase an answer, do so clearly/cleanly, using a good quality eraser.
Do not bend/fold your answer sheet, make stray marks or mark any area outside the provided circles.
MISCELLANEOUS
Answer sheet is to be signed both by the invigilator as well as by the candidate, in respectve blocks, with ballpoint pen
only.
PLEASE dONT FORGET TO bRING A CLIPbOARd ALONG.

Sample Paper - SADA
Cognitive and Aptitude Test (B Arch)
Part1: 2D Composition (20 minutes)
You are required to add to the shapes and lines to complete the
compositon/patern. You are free to choose the placement of the
objects according to their relatve positon on the sheet.
The patern must show a basic understanding of colour also. You
must use minimum 2 and maximum 3 colours as part of your
scheme.
Note: This compositon must be made using a pencil/pen/coloured
markers/pastels/colour pencils.
Part 2: 3D Visualisation/Drawing (1hour 40 minutes)
Choose 3-5 objects from your statonery box (pencils, erasers,
sharpeners, rulers) and arrange them together as a single form.
Now you are to draw this compositon on the A3 sheet provided.
> This drawing must be a freehand drawing (without the use of
ruler/scale/set square).
> Careful analysis of the lines, shapes and depth of the model must be
the basis of your drawing.
> Think of light and shadow which is created while drawing your form.
> You must use HB and B series pencils to draw your form.
Draw an imaginary table on which the arrangement is placed in your
image. Use your creatve skills to decide the shape, angle and texture of
the table.
Note: You will be evaluated on the 3D form drawn, detail in drawing,
understanding of form in 3D and line quality.
