1) Why did you choose the name "Endymion"?

We chose the name Endymion because we like how it sounds. Besides that it is not
a name with a literal meaning. Its just a name for us. The name has a mysterious
vibe and we think its classy.
1) Por qu el eligieron el nombre Endymion?
Nosotros elegimos el nombre Endymion porque nos gusta como suena. Adems no
es un nombre con un significado literal. Es slo un nombre para nosotros. El
nombre tiene una onda misteriosa y creemos que tiene clase.

2) In Chile we are not new with regard to Hardcore. We have had a Mad
Dog, Anime, Miss K8, Angerfist and even Evil Activities in the latest
version of Mysteryland Chile. What are your expectations for the Chilean
public on your debut in this country?
We spoke to a lot of colleagues about Chile. And they all said the same: It is the
best crowd in the world! We feel honored to finally have the chance to perform
for the people in Chile. Our expectations are very high. But we know for sure its
going to be one of the best experiences in our career!
2) En Chile no somos nuevos en relacin al Hardcore. Nosotros hemos
tenido a Mad Dog, Anime, Miss K8, Angerfist e incluso a Evil Activities en
la ltima versin de Mysteryland Chile. Cules son sus expectativas
sobre el pblico chileno en vuestro debut en Chile?
Nosotros hablamos con muchos compaeros acerca de Chile. Y todos ellos dijeron
lo mismo: Es el mejor pblico en el mundo! Nosotros nos sentimos honrados de
por fin tener la oportunidad de tocar para el pblico chileno. Nuestras expectativas
son muy altas. Pero estamos seguros que ser una de las mejores experiencias de
nuestras carreras!







3) What are your favorite plugins and samples pack?
At the moment we do a lot with a synth called Spire. It sounds amazing! Besides
that we are still big fans of Massive by Native Instruments. Most of the time we
design all our sounds by ourselves. But when we do need sample cds we often
grab the Vengeance sample packs. You always find what you need in there.
3) Cules son sus plugins y samples pack favoritos?
Por el momento nosotros hacemos mucho con un sintetizador llamado Spire.
Suena Increble! Adems todava somos grandes fans de Massive por Native
Instruments. La mayor parte del tiempo nosotros diseamos nuestros propios
sonidos. Pero cuando necesitamos samples de CDs normalmente ocupamos los
sample packs de Vengeance. Siempre podemos encontrar lo que necesitamos ah.

4) Which of your tracks is the one that identifies you the most, and why?
At the moment we feel that Under your skin (with Pandorum) is our best track.
But our sound is very diverse now. I think who we are can be found on our latest
album Be A Voice Not An Echo. We go from 150 to 175 BPM on the album. It has
vocal tracks and very aggressive tracks with a lot of energy. We produce what we
like to play. We always build up our sets from 155 to about 180 BPM. So we felt
we had to do this on our album as well.
4) Cul de sus temas es el que ms los identifica y por qu?
Por el momento creemos que Under Your Skin (With Pandorum) es nuestro
mejor tema, pero nuestro sonido ahora es muy diverso. Creemos que en Be a
Voice, Not an Echo puede explicar quines somos. Nosotros vamos de 150 a 175
BPM en el lbum., cuenta con pistas vocales y pistas agresivas con mucha energa.
Nosotros producimos lo que nos gusta tocar, siempre construimos los sets desde
155 hasta 180 BPM. As que pensamos que tenamos que hacer eso con nuestro
lbum.






5) With the passing of the years Hardcore has popularized in Europe,
Australia and now has come to America. What do you think about it?
Its perfect! The more people who enjoy hardcore, the better! Weve been in the
scene for a while now. And its great to receive so many messages from countries
all over the world! People from Chile have been contacting us SO much. Please
come to Chile! Please! And now, we can finally give the people in Chile the live
experience of Endymion!
5) Con el pasar de los aos el Hardcore se ha popularizado en Europa,
Australia y ahora ha llegado a Amrica. Qu piensan acerca de esto?
Es perfecto! Mientras ms personas disfruten el Hardcore, mejor. Hemos estado
en la escena desde hace un tiempo y es increble recibir tantos mensajes desde
muchos pases de todo el Mundo. Las personas de Chile se han contactado mucho
con nosotros. Por favor vengan a CHILE y ahora finalmente podemos darle a los
chilenos la experiencia de Endymion en VIVO!

6) What were your influences or your motivations to be a professional
DJ?
It was never a plan to become a professional DJ or producer. For us, it all started
as a hobby without any desire to become famous. We just had fun making music
and trying to mix vinyls. After a while, our music was released, and from that
moment on, we started to grow. I think thats the only way you can become
successful. You have to invest all your time in music in order to get better. If
youre in it for the fame, you wont make it. It has to come from the heart.
6) Cul fue su mayor influencia y su mayor motivacin para ser DJ
profesional?
Nunca fue un plan convertirnos en DJs profesionales o productores. Para nosotros
todo comenz como un hobby sin ningn deseo de convertirnos en famosos.
Nosotros slo nos divertamos haciendo msica y tratando de mezclar vinilos,
despus de un tiempo nuestra msica fue publicada y desde ese momento hemos
comenzado a crecer. Creo que esa es la nica forma de alcanzar el xito, tienes
que invertir todo tu tiempo en la msica con el fin de mejorar. Si ests en esto por
la fama no lo logrars. Esto tiene que venir desde el corazn.


7) The last year was the last time that we saw Q-Dance in Mysteryland
and it ended in a phenomenal way, Evil Activities with E-Life was the last
artist on the stage, left the audience completely mad with Hardcore.
Now Q-Dance will make their own Outdoor Event in our country. You
think that is time for a Hardcore Event like Dominator?
We havent experienced hardcore in Chile yet. But from the stories we heard, we
think its time to do something like that. The internet makes the music accessible
for everyone. So the people in Chile are ready for their own Hardcore / Hardstyle
event. We heard the ticket sales for The Sound of Q-Dance is going better than
ever! So lets keep this scene growing and hope for a Defqon.1 festival in Chile in
2015!

7) El ao pasado fue la ltima vez que vimos Q-Dance en Mysteryland y
termin de una manera fenomenal, Evil Activities con E-Life fue el ltimo
artista en el escenario y dej a la audiencia completamente loca con el
Hardcore. Ahora Q-Dance tendr su propio Evento Outdoor ac en Chile.
Ustedes creen que es tiempo de tener un Evento de Hardcore como
Dominator?
No hemos experimentado el Hardcore en Chile todava, pero por las historias que
nos han contado, creemos que es tiempo de hacer algo as. El internet hace que la
msica sea accesible para todos, por lo tanto los chilenos estn listos para su
propio evento de Hardcore/Hardstyle. Hemos odo que las ventas de entradas para
The Sound of Q-Dance estn mejor que nunca, entonces mantengamos la
escena creciendo y esperemos un Defqon.1 Festival en Chile el 2015!









8) How did you do your first track? You sent demos to some label? You
received help from a DJ?
Our first demo ended up at the desk of DJ Ruffneck. And he gave us a record
contract for 3 years on Supreme Intelligence. He helped us a lot with mixing our
first releases. We always joined him when he did that, so we could learn from it.
Besides that we are lucky to live in Holland. Our small country has so many
talents. So we all learn from each other. But the most important thing about a
good track is the idea, the creative part. People often forget to be original. First
you have to focus on that. And when you have that, try to make it technical
correct, or find help doing that.
8) Cmo hicieron su primer tema? Enviaron demos a algn sello?
Recibieron ayuda de algn DJ?
Nuestro primer demo termin en el escritorio de DJ Ruffneck y l nos dio un
contrato de grabacin por 3 aos en Supreme Intelligence. l nos ayud mucho en
la mezcla de nuestros primeros lanzamientos nosotros siempre lo acompabamos
cuando mezclaba, para as lograr aprender de l. Adems de eso, tenemos la
suerte de vivir en Holanda, nuestro pequeo pas tiene muchos talentos, por lo
que todos aprendemos de los dems. Pero lo ms importante de un buen tema es
la idea, la parte creativa. A menudo las personas olvidan ser originales, primero
tienes que enfocarte en eso y cuando lo logres intenta hacer lo tcnicamente
correcto o encuentra ayuda para lograrlo.

9) Why you chose the Hardcore style and not another more commercial
style?
Its not a choice. We love the music we make. So it comes natural for us.
9) Por qu ustedes eligieron el Hardcore y no otro estilo ms comercial?
No fue una eleccin. Nosotros amamos la msica que hacemos, por lo tanto es
natural para nosotros





10) Which do you think was the happening that causes you to be known?
Our energy on stage, our crazy videos on YouTube, and the fact that weve been
releasing quality music for such a long time are some of the reasons we became
famous artists! We are known to be crazy people, but thats because we always
have so much fun! For us its a privilege to perform all over the world. We think
people see that joy in us when we perform.
10) Cul creen ustedes que fue el acontecimiento que los hizo ser
conocidos?
Nuestra energa en el escenario, nuestros videos locos en YouTube y el hecho de
que hemos liberado msica de calidad durante mucho tiempo, es alguna de las
razones para convertirse en famosos artistas. Se nos conoce como locos pero eso
es porque nos divertimos mucho en lo que hacemos. Para nosotros es un privilegio
tocar alrededor de todo el mundo, adems creemos que las personas ven esa
alegra en nuestras actuaciones.
