The reason they are called authority )acklinks is not )ecause they are &rom sort

the eyes o& google they *ill make your rankings &or your keyphrases rise
considera)ly and e'entually *hen you get enough -depends on competition/ you
*ill ha'e top rankings.

There are a &e* *ays people like to check the competition &or certain keyphrases

make sure the keyphrase is in 0uotes -see photo )elo*/.
So as you can see all i'e done is put 0uotes ->/ )e&ore and a&ter my keyphrase
and you *ould o& course replace the *ords >your keyphrase? *ith your o*n.
Then click Google search and you *ill see your results.
As an e2ample im going to do one &or >dog training ad'ice? and see i& it *ould )e
possi)le to get top or near top rankings and carry out the competition checker.
So % entered in >dog training ad'ice? into the google search. @licked >Google
Search? and then here are my results.
,o* i& you look at those results then you look to the right hand side *here it says
results 1-1 o& a)out ./0 &or 1do" trainin" ad'ice2&
The key num)er here is the ./0.
That sho*s you ho* many real competing sites there are &or that keyphrase. %&
that num)er is )elo* 4AA3AAA results then you ha'e a chance at getting in the
top 6A. %& not higher.

Ho*e'er o& course the lo*er the num)er is and the more de&ined your search
keyphrase is then the )etter and less results you *ill get.
,o* the reason you put the 0uotes ->/ )e&ore and a&ter the keyphrase is so that
you only get the correct num)er o& competing sites. lse *ithout them google *ill
sho* up e'ery single site that contains those *ords any*here near each other
on the site+page and that is not a true count.
That concludes the &ast and easy method o& checking the competition &or your
keyphrase+s.
,o* onto the more in depth and in my eyes )etter method o& checking the
competition.
3on"er ,ore In-Depth ,ethod Of Checkin" Competition(
This method is 1ust a &e* more steps longer than the pre'ious )ut you still start
the same. Ho*e'er instead o& 1ust looking at ho* many competing result(s there
are &or the keyphrase you *ill also )e looking at the results and *here they rank
too3 e'en more importantly their )acklinks.
So *hat you do is again per&orm the search ho*e'er this time *ithout 0uotes. So
1ust in its normal &orm. Then *e are going to analyBe the results as 0uickly as
possi)le and only look at the top 4 -you can do more/ results.
From the result(s a)o'e you can see that searching *ithout 0uotes yields a hell
o& a lot more results3 14/5/ in &act&

This is normal and nothing to )e *orried a)out. Because e'en *ith this high
num)er you *ill )e a)le to see i& you can rank any*here in the top 4 -)elo* the
&irst 4 isn(t normally *orth it unless it has a 'ery high search 'olume and you can
get a )etter more eye catching title than the other sites.

Using these t*o things together *ill make your 1o) a lot easier and decrease the
time you spend )y a hell o& a lot3 so it is de&inatly *orth it.

=hat you need to do is go )ack to google and look at those top search results5

"nce the site is open you *ill then need to le&t click on that circle 0 icon again

%t *ill then open up a page as &ollo*s *hich *ill sho* you 1ust ho* many

-unless you think you can get 6AAA(s o& )acklinks that are )etter/ 1ust lea'ing that

can teach as seo is 'ery complicated and has a lot o& 'alues that take an e&&ect

sites+pages to the top you *ill )e a)le to understand a lot more.
Personally % don(t &eel that S" can )e taught in an e)ook and is all a)out trial

check the competition &or key*ords is common practice among all %I(ers.

Fou should no* &ully understand *hat an authority )acklink is and also ho* to
check the competition o& keyphrases to &ind out )e&ore you spend your time
getting )acklinks i& it *ill easily )e possi)le to get top rankings. A&ter all unless
the tra&&ic is amaBingly high and it is *hat you *ould call a )uying keyphrase then
you are not going to *ant to spend all your time )uilding )acklinks to something

or a bi" site= then you 7ill find loads and loads of "ood authority backlink
hot spots to use because they are ?ust made by marketers ?ust like

that site *ill send your site some link G1uice( meaning it is more po*er&ull.

po*er&ul than a normal one.
