We know that we are Christians. The 8oly =pirit of 7od
made us understand our sins and their punishment. 8e made us feel
2uilty and sorry. This caused us to repent and as- for for2iveness
from 7od and then #y faith 1e received esus the 6hrist as our
=avior. That means 1e told 7od that 1e #elieved 8im+ 1hen 8e
said that esus died on the cross to pay for our sins. Be also
#elieved that esus arose from the 2rave alive to prove that 8e is
7od and that 8e has the po1er to for2ive us of all of our sins and
to 2ive us eternal life. Be than-ed 7od for 8is 1onderful 2ift of
eternal life and for savin2 us from the eternal fires of 8ell. Be
loo- for1ard to en4oyin2 our life to2ether 1ith 8im in heaven. "ut

repentance came #efore #aptism. esus #aptism did not 1ash a1ay
any sins #ecause esus did not have any sins+ so then; 1e
understand that #aptism cannot 1ash a1ay anyone@s sins #ecause
the "i#le says that there is only one "aptism. esus 1as #uried
under the 1ater 1hen 8e 1as #apti9ed and it pictured ho1 8e
1ould die on the cross+ 8e 1ould #e #uried and arise a2ain to 1al-

#apti9ed the same 1ay. Then once 1e 2ot #apti9ed 1e 1ere 4oined
