This unit provides an in-depth study of the various analysis and techniques used to build, create and maintain various computer-based systems. Practical techniques and appropriate documentation of systems analysis and design will be covered. It also places emphasis on the importance of human aspects of information systems.

Attendance in all classes is required. Absences and tardiness will greatly affect the students grades.
Exams and Quizzes
In every end of a topic, a quiz will be given on the next day before the start of a new topic. Before a major exam, a term exam will be given that will serve as a review. Late students will not be allowed to take a make-up quiz unless absence is valid.
Assignments
Late assignments will not be accepted. Deadline is deadline.
Tools
Students must have access to email and computers in the laboratory.
Classroom Decorum Statement
The Code of Student Conduct requires that students behave in a manner that is conducive to a teaching/learning environment. Students who engage in behavior that is disruptive or obstructive to the teaching/learning environment will be subject to disciplinary sanctions outlined by the Code of Student Conduct.
