A. General Information

“Facilitating Culiat High School students in learning MS Word, Adobe


Project Title: Photoshop and Windows Movie Maker”

Special computer laboratory sessions with Culiat High School


Brief Project
Description:
Junior students for their basic learning of MS Word, Adobe
Photoshop, and Windows Movie Maker

B. Project Objective:
Explain the specific objectives of the project. For example: What value does this project add to the
organization? How does this project align with the strategic priorities of the organization? What results
are expected? What are the deliverables? What benefits will be realized? What problems will be
resolved?

The project aims:

1. To establish in every participant a basic knowledge of how, when and


why to use such programs as MS Word, Adobe Photoshop , and Movie
Maker, that will be practicable in their studies and future endeavors as
students or as participants of related fields(e.g. contests, etc.)
2. To make the lessons more effective by having advance lessons in MS
Word(a major part of their curriculum) be covered in a hands-on
manner, by assisting the teacher
3. To introduce to the students and to familiarize them with the basic
Adobe photoshop usage and features that will serve as their
foundations for future trainings should the school need
representatives in Photoshop-related contests

C. Assumptions
List and describe the assumptions made in the decision to charter this project. Please note that all
assumptions must be validated to ensure that the project stays on schedule and on budget.

1. The number of students and facilities (computers with MS word/Adobe Photoshop/Movie maker)
is in the ratio 1:1.

2. The lesson plan to be used is the one approved by the sponsor.

3. It is assumed that the students already know the basic operations in computer(i.e. turning it on
/off)

4. The topics will strictly be in accordance to the approved lesson plan

5. In case of computer breakdown, the computer teacher assigned will fix it (The other computer
teacher

D. Project Scope
Describe the scope of the project. The project scope establishes the boundaries of the project. It
identifies the limits of the project and defines the deliverables.

- The duration of the project is from November to March

- It is expected that every week, at least once, the group will be there to facilitate

- Evaluating measures like the practical exams in Adobe Photoshop(APS) and Movie
Maker(MM) will be prepared and executed by the group

- The team will handle the 4 classes with the following schedule:

>12:30 – 1:10 – III Garnet

>1:10- 1:50 – III Carnelian

>4:30 – 5:10 – III Sapphire

>5:10 – 5:50 - III Ruby

- Computers without Photoshop and Movie Maker will be installed with Trial Version only
of Adobe Photoshop

- Documentation of effort (pictures and videos of sessions)

G. Roles and Responsibilities


Describe the roles and responsibilities of project team members followed by the names and contact

Sponsor: Provides overall direction on the project. Responsibilities include: approve the project
charter and plan; secure resources for the project; confirm the project’s goals and objectives; keep

roadblocks.
